But to have this guy trying to debate hitchens as basically a christian bible literalist is almost laughable.
Why not islam or seehk or hindu?

I don't know much about his other sayings/writings/videos, but he did not come across as a Christian bible literalist in that debate. Hitchens tried to maneuver him into a literal/objective interpretation but McGrath would not have it that way.

And so he shouldn't.:cool: Hitchens has been set up against various fundamentalist American preachers and he's wiped the floor with them.:p The same goes for Dawkins. That's why the debates with McGrath are so much more interesting; in fact they're the only ones on this subject worth watching.:cool: I wonder if McGrath has scored a hat-trick yet by taking on Sam Harris; then he'll have addressed the whole "Unholy Trinity".:D
