...But it's OK for police to now admit that they wear black uniforms to intimidate us and act menacing.

"P.S. - D.C. Lloyd, God help your new-born baby".

What's menacing about that? Just another stitch up for critisizing the police, if you ask me.

...But it's OK for police to now admit that they wear black uniforms to intimidate us and act menacing.

They actually admit to that? Any links?

Agreed Doozy, a slippery slope indeed.

As a blogger this pisses me off. As news articles like this enter the public conscience, people begin to self-police themselves, FEARING that they would write something offensive. That's all this "news" article and episode is about making people worry about offending someone before they write or type what they truly believe.

You hear a lot about this sort of rubbish, where something has offended someone and been cancelled or removed. Like a church puts on a nativity play, but they cant mention Jesus in case it offends someone. I mean who the fuck are these people who get offended and how come the minority gets their own way? A better example would be for adverts on telly, you hear about a pet food ad being pulled due to offending someone because a dog wears a wig (or whatever, you know what I mean) - the ad gets taken off air because ONE person complains and is "offended". I want to line up all these tossers who get offended and laugh in their stupid little faces.

In the meantime, for me, I will continue to write whatever the fuck I like and whatever comes into my head and if anyone 'takes offense', well they can go fuck themselves.

They call it 'dress to kill' that's not a joke. Look it up on wired.com. I still hope that police officer gets struck down by karma. As for the baby god help his potato-headed goose-stepping father.
