Gee, I wonder why NASA didn't mention them? :D

What a beautifully put together short film, love the 'Contact' film music:) I will admit I felt a bit emotional while watching that?
I have always found Mars a fascinating place, maybe we all once came from there?........:)
If I had a Billy Meier type of contact, I would ask to be taken to Mars for a look around...........:) :)

excellent post .Yes weve been there before or they are there now .In dennis wheatley nazi occult novels if i remember rightly its been over 25 years since i read them ,lol .The british spy? cant recal name tried to convince hitler that he had been reincarnated from mars and that if he died when he did he could go back to mars and form an invasion party and conquer earth in the future from there? i think im correct in assuming that was the plot ,anyone else who knows please feel free to add any info.Hitler wrote science fiction novels apparently ??? i remember seeing one in paperback claiming to be by hitler i should of read it but it didnt appeal at the time ,anyway one of my art pieces for school c.s.e was a space scene over mars with nazi ships firing on freedom alliance craft , not that thats got anything to do with it .But definatley there out there and closer than we think ,wonder if its the same ones on the moon as mars .:D

Hi lightbeing
Yeah totally, I found it really moving, glad you did too :)
I remember watching the Duncan O'Finioan, Ultimate Warrior interview a while back where he mentions something about Mars. If I recall correctly it was something like all MK subjects have a deep & protective attitude towards Mars, they don't like to talk about it, but it's something really important & they don't want "them" to go there/mess with it? (Someone please correct me if I got that wrong - Father Ted?, you know your stuff on this???)
Anyway, it's a real shame it's gone & wish I'd gotten a copy now.

Cheers King I already have that downloaded but I did not try to download it until I saw the post about it being unreachable. I knew pooptube had pulled it as it kept giving the message bad url. I still had it cached though so I thought if I could capture the events on my screen (destop screen recorder) whilst playing the video again then it least others could still watch it. Like I said I tried to change the screen settings which then dropped the cache and tried to reload from source. :(

Plants on other planets may be yellow or red
Thu Apr 12, 2007 12:56AM BST
By Julie Steenhuysen
CHICAGO (Reuters) - The same rules that make Earth plants green may make non-Earth plants yellow, red or green -- but likely not blue, NASA scientists said on Wednesday.
They said their findings -- which look at how plants absorb and reflect different types of light -- may help narrow the search for life on planets beyond our solar system.
And, as a bonus, they may have answered a basic question about life on Earth.
"We've uncovered maybe the best explanation of why plants are green," said Nancy Kiang, a NASA biometeorologist who led the study, which appears in the journal Astrobiology.
Understanding plant colours on other planets is important as scientists prepare for new information to be generated from giant space telescopes planned by NASA and the European Space Agency to study Earth-sized planets orbiting other stars.
"We can guess the plausible range of colours they might be," said Vikki Meadows, an astrobiologist the California Institute of Technology who heads NASA's Virtual Planetary Laboratory.
Meadows and a host of scientists from different disciplines first studied how light is absorbed and reflected by plants and some bacteria on Earth
That led to computer model for predicting the colour of plants on other planets and new insights about plants on Earth.
Chlorophyll in plants takes light from the sun and converts it into energy through a process called photosynthesis.
Scientists have long known that most plants on Earth absorb more blue and red light and less green light, but they have not understood why.
It turns out that more red light reaches plants on Earth, and blue light is the easiest to absorb. So plants make most efficient use of these two, and that leaves green light as largely superfluous.
"They don't absorb the green because they have more than enough light from blue and red. They just don't need green," Kiang said.
As a result, plants reflect away relatively more green light, which is why plants appear green.
"It turns out plants are actually using the best light there is," Kiang said.
On other planets, where other colours of the light spectrum might dominate, the plants might soak up more green or even more blue light and reflect back whatever is not needed for energy
The scientists believe the same rules will apply on Earth-like planets in other solar systems.
"It turns out that photosynthesis is one of those things that is likely to be common. If we look for life on other planets, we will try to look for signs of photosynthesis," Meadows said.

That's one excellent video. Thanks for linking that one.
If I hadn't already been into Icke's work, the pictures of all that stuff would have blown my mind; after reading the first chapters of The Biggest Secret I'm not surprised, just fascinated. Mars and other planets have always been fascinating to me.
And, in an amazing turn of 'coincidence', I'm watching a documentary about two NASA scientists who were fighting for a Mars mission, and came up with a viable plan...but the organisation didn't want to know. Surprise.
