Just posted this in the news thread under 'sailors freed' link. But thought I would post it here, maybe someone can help develop this.
Just a thought could Iran the US and the Uk be playing biblical games here, with the release of the sailors in tune with easter.
I ain't no biblical expert but didn't 'Pontus Pilot' release Barabbas and crucify Christ, because the crowd (Jews) voted to free barabbas(according to wikipedia, Barabbas was a member of the sicarii, a militant Jewish movement that sought to overthrow the Roman occupiers of their land by force (aka a terrorist) (plus interestingly 'bar-abbas' translates as 'son of the father'). Not sure how it all fits as its just a thought. It needs someone with far more biblical know how, to put this possible jigsaw together.
