Tarot Cards

I never learnt about the tarot, but i was at a friends house a few years back and his sister pulled a pack of cards out. So i was checking them out and then decided to do a spread of cards for my mate (fooling around) as i read the booklet that came with them.

Then i read the booklet to make some sense of his cards, i basically told him that he was going to bump into a group of old friends that he hadnt seen for years. And that amongst them there was going to be an ex girlfriend who was going to be hostile towards him.

Two days later me and my mate was out, and we bumped into a group of women that we were both friends with back in our teens. One of them was his ex girl.

The invited us to visit them, we had a real good night, except his ex was being a real bitch to him all night.

We both thought it was mad because things were unfolding right before our eyes. :eek:

And like i said, i never learnt the tarot ...i just did a one off reading, and everything i said come to past. :)

Ive done the tarot for the past 5 years at a very basic level. The people i have done for i have been 95% right. I would love to do it more and learn more of the deeper meanings of the tarot. The more you do the better you get. Its just finding the time to do it. Im to busy looking on this foarm and getting all the imfo i can.

I had the aleister crowley thoth deck that i bought from the bookstore. It was the most difficult deck i've ever seen. The symbolism was packed onto each card, so many different things!
After awhile it started to smell like incense and i just got a bad vibe from it. I don't know what happened to them. I put them in a box and they disappeared. But i am glad, they weren't a helpful deck even though the artwork was astounding. Each time I did a reading I would be depressed after. I don't mess with the tarot anymore.

If you have a reading talent like that you seriously should work at it !

This is a guide. It does not predict the actual future, it only shows you what the future might be, you should take a set of actions you are considering. There is also a huge difference, get involved by reading and anyone who is in the tarot reading as a hobby.

I've been doing tarot on and off for about 8 years or so and I LOVE it! :D I did a few courses over a few years, was a professional once in a new age shop, for a while, do the odd private readings and the rest of the time..practice, practice...practice..it makes perfect..lol

People are amazed when I give them the deck, get them to concentrate on someone, pass the deck back to me without giving any clues or cheats as to the person or their situation, etc., and I can do a reading for a person I have never met..their jaws drop..lol (it's referred to as an "absent" reading..)

Edit: I find if I am not meant to do a reading for the people I have not met, I will get info, but if I am not, then the reading will not work, a kind of "ethical" thingy kicks in, or I will ask my tarot guides if it is OK to do the reading on someone (i.e. not invading their privacy)

This week I have been doing alot of readings on myself, certain situations and people around me, alive AND passed..they have been so spookily accurate you would not believe!

I do enjoy the tarot and only use one deck, Rider Waite.

I have taught the tarot to a few people, mainly blokes, and they all seemed to have anatural talent for it, so it wasn't difficult....you obviously do as well...well done !

Hello Friends..

I totally agree with Jack Blackham that tarot cards never gives or shows the right prediction of the future....They just try to predict what should might be happen in your current,past and future life....Some times predictions are bit right but mostly they are not so....It depends who is reading or understating what cards are showing..
