This first episode of the spin-off series to the 'X-Files' was aired 4/3/2001.
I'm a big fan of the writer of the show Frank Spotnitz and I really hope this is a coincidence, but it can't be ignored either..

On March 4, 2001—exactly six months and one week before 9/11—The Lone Gunmen television show, a spinoff from The X-Files, premiered on FOX.

In that pilot episode, Byers' father faked his own death in order to uncover a conspiracy to hijack a commercial airliner, and crash it into what turned out to be the World Trade Center. This episode, and those that followed it, received positive reviews, but FOX cancelled the show due, it said, to a drop in ratings.

The following series of clips from that pilot episode are somewhat more extensive than what has been available on YouTube to date, detailing some of the possible similarities between fact and fiction than had been available before.

Dr. Condoleezza Rice said that, before 9/11, no one anticipated airliners being used as weapons. Given that the government had anticipated this (even considered perpetrating a similar scenario!) as far back as Operation Northwoods and as recently as the "terror drills" it was sponsoring that day, not only is Dr. Rice's statement patently false, but also—strangely enough—the fictional "Lone Gunmen" seem to have anticipated this, as the following clips plainly demonstrate.

Still, that this 9/11 was foreshadowed by The Lone Gunmen—just over six months prior to September 11, 2001—is stunning.

Cast and crew of the X-Files attended "WonderCon 2008" in San Diego this weekend to discuss the upcoming X-Files movie. During the question and answer, one intrepid audience member asked Chris Carter, creator of X-Files and The Lone Gunmen, about the pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen, which eerily predicted the events of 9/11 that took place in New York mere months after the episode aired on tv. Do you guys remember Chris Carter mentioning putting "insider information" into x-files? He said it in some old interview, i cant remember the date, but it was mid '90s.

As far as i know it's the only time he has mentioned something like that...

Ofcourse these people know more than they tell and the Lone Gunmen episode is rather blatant and in-your-face about it..

Aye. And the most in-your-face one of these... Same shit has been hinted in so many movies before 9/11, but this was about the actual happening. So clear and blatant. I'm sure Chris Carter and other makind these have known quite a lot of details before..

Wouldnt it be fun if someone, with OBVIOUSLY a lot of money and influence, could counter Hollywood (MSM part and parcel) and do a "tele drama" series on 911, where the REAL facts get brought up. ie the nano thermite, the bogus passport being found in NYC, the lap dancing girls with Atta and mates, the dancing Israelis, the anonymous tip of Attas car being found at Logan with their passports and "how to fly a jumbo jet in arabic for dummies" type crap, the firemens reports of explosions in the WTC, the collapse of WTC 7, the bbc coverage of such, the interview with Barry Jennings, the Pensylvania anomalies ....bodies or no bodies..fire crews reporting easy to extinguish fires, no problem....molten metal falling on video reports..explosions in basements prior to planes hitting....insurance cover, Silverstein and family being away that day, Willie Brown told niot to fly..(thats off the top) ... no response from the airforce, operation vigilant shield......shit it would go for months:D

Like out of 4 planes not one got off an emergency call or signal.
