Learn as much as possible about the different known realms outside 3D so that I know where to focus/go when the time for my exit (physical death) comes.

To become a professional composer for game soundtracks and maybe even movies. :)
Oh.. and to finish redoing my GCSE's so I can finally leave it to rest. I failed them first time due to so much crap going on, but now I've payed shit loads of money to re do 5 subjects and I'm going to nail them this time! It's something I have wanted to do before I..er.. die? (You know what I mean! :))

What a great objective.
Got a feeling that in the not too distant future, there will be plenty
of enlightened 'centres' where people will be able to go to actually learn
how to 'travel' and explore these realms before they die.
Imagine how that will transform death ....and life.
The Monroe Insitute is probably a template for these new centres

More and more are exploring the universe from the comfort of their own homes, but perhaps you are right, centres provide a sense of security which is fairly important in order to overcome the initial fear of going out of body.
I was fortunate to be able to learn the methods at the institute some years ago, and found the support and knowledge of the people there crucial as I at the time did not trust my own ability to handle the experience. I had a lot of fear and a lot of conditioning to overcome. One of the fears was that once out-of-body, I was literally on my own. No hand to hold, no teacher, no guru there to tell me where to go, or what to do. It's the ultimate way to learn how to rely on 'self'.
Cheers seanx, glad we're on the same page re: this. ETA: I agree it transforms life. With direct experience of a "from-the-outside-looking-in" perspective some things in life become irrelevant, and the fascination with death (look at the evil! Be very afraid & walk this way!) falls away with the knowledge that it never ends and that we carry on learning. At this point in time we are facing forces that would like to remove/cut off our ability to 'evolve'/reach any kind of understanding about our selves (the pyramid on the dollar bill) and that would prefer to keep us in their reality, until we literally fade out/run out of life force. That's what the NWO is about. To me it's scary to watch people argue over how to deal with the means when they aren't in agreement of the end/why.
It's not hard to understand the leaders of this world/reality. It's like 'understanding' (realise what it does true to its nature) a hyena. They are experts at navigating in the predatory system and they have perfected it to a point where they almost control it. They understand this 3D world, they like it here and they want to stay as it fulfills their 'needs'/greed/addictions/obsessions. What is hard to understand is why some of the clued-in 'awake' people are getting caught up in petty fights over insignificant issues and are unable to see what is really going on.
