According to what I heard on the Alex Jones show: A politician attacked members of We Are Change Ireland, and well-respected media, including the BBC, described the incident as the politician having been attacked. The total opposite of what happened.:confused:

Here is the BBC version of the same story:

Anti-EU gang assaults Irish MEP

"Irish former minister Proinsias de Rossa was knocked to the ground after a public meeting in Dublin on Monday night, according to the Labour Party.

Labour leader Eamon Gilmore said the MEP was confronted by a group of men who screamed abuse at him before knocking him over and pinning him down.

Police confirmed the attack which left Mr de Rossa bruised and shaken. ..."

yep I read this. its so blatent now. there's a A Jones show with him talking to them somewhere.

and there's this

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/april2008/042308_members_arrested.htm

Two members of We Are Change were arrested in New York last night for asking Laura and Jenna Bush a question. Reporter Matt Lepacek was dragged out during Laura Bush's speech and physically assaulted by police, according to Luke Rudkowski.

News of the incidents has not been reported by the corporate media as of this morning.

A We Are Change member named Gary reportedly refused to move from a sidewalk when asked by the Secret Service. When Gary attempted to ask Laura and Jenna Bush a question, a plain clothed man escorting someone in a wheelchair started a fight. Both men were taken to a local police precinct and the man who started the fight was released, while Gary was held and later charged with 3rd Degree Assault.

I wonder about We Are Change. I don't fully trust them. But it's good that mainstream media gets some opposition. Hopefully they are not opposames.

I'm the same not 100% sure, just healthy skepticism I hope. This sort of stuff makes me feel good about them:

No doubt most members are genuine, but most organised groups can easily be taken over, and even be created, by black-op government agencies.

I get the feeling that We Are Change are unusually organized for being a grassroot movement and that there are maybe some big powers behind them. It could be a "good team" power structure as opposed to the sinister black-op powers. But I'm just speculating wildly here. :D

Always take the stories you read in the news or hear about on the radio with a healthy dose of skeptisim. Sometimes I think those folks get paid to lie to the public. Wouldn't surprise me none.

Just a few years ago I more or less blindly trusted mainstream media. Even today it is very difficult for me to actually distrust big media networks. Mainstream media has an enormous authority power. Just look at Reuters and AP. 99,9% of all people trust them totally.

It will be interesting to see if some change will start happening among the big media companies. Not only are they attacked from outside, I strongly suspect that there is also a great and increasing pressure within those organizations.
