Well, do you? Take it personally when he is insulted, mocked, rejected and his existence denied?

If so, why? If not, why not?

It is good to quantify in the context of this thread whilst answering what you're idea of "God" is too. :)

3 The question is irrelevant since there is no God!

The vox populi biased, vengeful Disney God. Totally made up. Most likely to be long gone Roman twats, or some other twat in the general area.

atheism :
the absolute denial of the existence of God or any other gods. —atheist, n. —atheistic, adj.

G.O.D. as in Geometry Of Divinity; a whole other kettle of fish. Nothing that requires worship nor people getting self-righteous or pompous about.

Most threads on this s-forum belong on the "need a laugh?" s-forum. Am I right?

Do you really believe that you can hold your fist to God, shout out some profanity, deny His existance, and that He would be insulted by that? He will laugh, he will hardly evern care, and if you are lucky he will come around and spank you. That's about all.

Now. You want to insult God? Then drop bombs on women and children.

If you deny God in public.. to me.. though... it does feel like I'm witnessing someone destroying themselves, someone cursing their own life,... or it can look like a robot promoting robot religion (many scientists and intellectuals do that).

4. the question is irrelevant because God is being

- as suggested in the christian religion, by the words "εγώ ειμί ό ών" (ego eme ho on). this translates as "i am being", or "i am existence", or "i am the one who is", or simply "i am"

so existence can only be insulted by existence. and even by denying his/her self existence, it is self annihilating, therefore the question is irrelevant.

do you generally get offended when someone insults you, or others, or your beliefs? what would that threshold of offense be?
