A close friend of George H.W. Bush, he was the Governor of Wisconsin for 14 years and served as the Secretary of Health and Human Services under George W. Bush for four years, which earned him and his department criticism for hiding a $150 Billion price tag of a new law concerning prescription drug benefits. Apparently medical companies that he had a financial stake in were the real beneficiaries.

He has considerable shares in Applied Digital Solutions, the makers of the VERICHIP, and also sits on their board of directors. The Verichip is a microchip designed for injection into human flesh for identification purposes and as a payment device, although the fascists will have you believe it’s function is mostly to record your medical information.

Ultimately the legislation has strengthened their military and counter-narcotics operations and massively reduced human rights. Mostly so that the military would be in control of narcotic transportation to the USA, I suspect!

Tommy Thompson man is obviously a dangerous choice for American people, not only because of who he’s associated with, but primarily because of his interest in the growth of the Verichip. He BELIEVES in it and what it stands for. That means that to him, you and I are cattle.

GOP hopeful Tommy Thompson abandons presidential bid

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson is abandoning his presidential bid, his campaign announced Sunday night.

Thompson, who also served in the Bush Cabinet, did not meet the expectations he set for himself in the Ames Republican straw poll held Saturday.

"I want to thank the people of Iowa who were welcoming and supportive as well as my volunteers and contributors from around the country," Thompson said in a written statement.
