View Full Version : Vitamins a 'waste of time' - Daily mail

'Vitamins A, C and E are 'a waste of time and may even shorten your life'

(I think the author of this article, Jenny Hope, has worded it wrongly
accidentally on purpose)...it should be titled:-

'Reading and believing dog shite like this is a waste of time, and WILL shorten
your life'

Claims: Are vitamins and supplements doing more harm than good? (Posed
by a model)
Vitamins taken by around a third of the population do not extend life and may
even cause premature death, according to a respected group of international
scientists.

After reviewing 67 studies involving more than 230,000 men and women, the
experts say there is no convincing evidence that taking supplements of the
antioxidant vitamins A, C and E can make you healthier.

The alarming findings, published today, will shock Britons who spend
£333million a year on supplements.

Forty per cent of women and 30 per cent of men take a vitamin pill each day.

The review involved trials on beta-carotene, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E
and selenium.

It says in-depth analysis of the different trials does not support the idea that
vitamins extend lifespan.

'Even more, beta-carotene, vitamin A, and vitamin E seem to increase
mortality,' says the review.

Vitamin A was linked to a 16 per cent increase in mortality, beta-carotene -
the pigment found in carrots, tomatoes and broccoli which the body converts
into vitamin A - to a 7 per cent increase and vitamin E to a 4 per cent
increase. However, there was no significant detrimental effect caused by
vitamin C.

'There was no evidence to support either healthy people using antioxidants to
prevent disease or for sick people to take them to get better,' said the
review.

It said more research was needed on vitamin C and selenium.

Antioxidants are used by the body as protection against free radicals, which
are molecules produced during normal metabolism.

These can damage the body if they flourish in an uncontrolled way as a result
of illness, overexposure to toxins or ageing.

It is thought antioxidants such as vitamin C confer health benefits
by 'grabbing' or neutralising free radicals, and many people take them as
health 'insurance'.

The theory behind using antioxidants is to combat oxidation - the chemical
reaction that causes metals to rust - which in cells can damage DNA, thus
raising the risk of cancer, other diseases and the changes associated with
ageing.

Previous human and animal laboratory research suggested that boosting
antioxidant levels in the body might extend life, but other studies produced
neutral or even harmful results.

It's just another step towards conditioning the population
into accepting CODEX ALIMENTARIUS:-

being involved in a company that sells natural health stuff www.kernelpower.co.uk i know all about this and their are testing times ahead for us folks thats for sure.

also note the 333million spent on supplements how much are taxpayers forking out for 950m subscriptions a year YES 950 MILLION PRESCRIPTIONS , NEARLY 1 BILLION, I HAVE NOT MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY CALCULATIONS

Thanks for the article!

Yes, its pure unadulterated bullshit. The drug companies know the populace are turning away in droves from their drugs which do nothing (in a lot of cases) except prolong whatever is 'wrong' with you. Its an INDUSTRY, which is totally dependant on lies and deceit. They are troubled.

Its one of the reasons that I've never ever given to the big medical charities, like cancer or the 'British Heart Foundation', which, in my view (cancer especially) do nothing except promote the view that the cure is 'almost there, & with your help, we can 'fight it!' ) So we pour bloody millions into an industry which is not the slightest bit interested in promoting a 'cure'.

Expect even more vitriol from Big Pharma, & the media, as ever, will dance to the tune..........

A doctor on the Alex Jones show said that there are much more vitamins than those that have been given letter names like A, B, C...

And several researchers have said that the artificially made vitamins are not the same molecules as the natural vitamins. For example ascorbic acid is called vitamin C but it is not the same molecule as real vitamin C.

And several researchers have said that the artificially made vitamins are not the same molecules as the natural vitamins. For example ascorbic acid is called vitamin C but it is not the same molecule as real vitamin C.

This is true... but... there are also 'naturally-derived' vitamins and products
available at places such as Holland and Barretts, some of which i buy regularly, such as:-

cod liver oil, flaxseed oil, organic spirulina, chlorella, echinacea, ginkgo biloba,
various bach flower remedies/tinctures, sea kelp, ginseng and other stuff.
I even buy my natural 'non-fluoride' toothpaste from there.

But...when they close the vitamin shops down, it'll all be gone.

Q) - Why have these so-called 'respected scientists' not studied the effects of
the naturally-derived products?
A) - Because they actually help people to stay healthy, and that's the last thing
'they' want to happen, and they don't want us to know how beneficial they are.

That's why they tested out the most basic of vitamins, probably non-natural ones.

Also..these 230, 000 people who were supposedly studied....
were they studied over a period of several years....?

I highly doubt it...more like several weeks or months maximum.

The article also says "more research needed on vitamin C and selenium."
Yet, the title of the article quite clearly says:-
"'Vitamins A, C and E are a waste of time and may even shorten your life"

So regardless of whether some of the vitamins are crappy (the non-naturally-
derived ones), we will still be losing out on all the rest of the naturally-derived
'good stuff' which they failed to mention in their bollocks article in the daily
mail.

It's all one-sided propaganda...and it's us that lose out everytime because of
it.

I was thinking about that too. Were the tests done with natural vitamins or with artificially created vitamins? The natural vitamins could be healthy while the artificial vitamins may be outright toxic.

Did you know that a source of this B17 can be found in the pips of apples & pears? Not sure sbout other fruit. It seems that this vitamin was plentiful in apples especially, many years ago before mass farming techniques bred it out, & of course our soil is so depleted, it can barely sustain the growth of these miracles of nature.
To access the B17, you have to crush the pip between the teeth before swallowing, or they go straight through.... They have a nice 'almond' taste too. A poor substitute for the real thing, but not all of us can afford the expensive (why, oh why?!) apricot kernels - & i can't find them anywhere around where i live.

here's the real reason why it's bad to take vits. it's not the vitamins, but the additives:

Silicon Dioxide (http://www.ivanfraser.com/articles/health/sics.html)

and it causes:

breast pain or tenderness
fatigue, usually made worse by exercise
cognitive function problems, such as attention deficit disorder,
calculation difficulties, memory disturbance, spatial disorientation,
frequently saying the wrong word
psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, personality
changes, mood swings
sleep disturbance and non-restorative sleep
headaches of a greater intensity than before implantation
changes in vision
seizures
loss of balance
numbness and tingling
lightheadedness
paralysis
joint and muscle aches and pains
shortness of breath
lymph node enlargement
weight gain
low grade fevers
abnormal heart rhythm
hair loss
dry eyes and mouth
frequent canker sores in the mouth
low back pain
skin changes and/or rashes
severe muscular weakness
intolerance of bright lights
intolerance of alcohol
ringing in ears
decreased libido
muscle tremors
recurrent flu-like illnesses
severe allergies
irritable bowel syndrome
night sweats
uncomfortable urination
chest pain
cough
Raynaud's phenomenon
enlarged thyroid.

Problem is in America at least you cant get fresh Apricot kernels, thats why bringing in fresh fruit is banned there, nothing to do with "bringing in disease", its so they can FUCKING propogate the diseases there:mad:

There was a doctor in Chester struck off a couple of years ago who was giving a patient Laetrile. He was also threatened with up to 2 years jail.
It was all over Sky News saying that it contained cyanide. It does but in molecular form which targets accurately the cancer cells. Notice that SKY dont tell you that the success rate after Chemo can be as little as 2%, simply because it completely wipes out the immune system. Bastards:mad:

Next time you bump into the Cancer research collectors. Stop and tell them about the hidden cures and watch their jaws drop.
I always make a point of telling them to look up Laetrile (B17) and the other suppressed cures for cancer and the fact that they have been suppressed for decades now. They are working from the heart so you really cant blame them for doing what they are doing, but their faces when you tell them

b-2 and magnesium should have a sedating effect. Vitamin pills are a health hazard. Isolated, concentrated and sometimes synthesized nutrients aren't safe especially when combined with other ingredients.

Vitamins aren't competition for Pharma. They are dangerous chemicals and should be treated as such.

Madthumbs:-

Stating that 'vitamins are dangerous chemicals and should be treated as such'
is clearly an untrue and vague/sweeping statement.

Vitamins come in all forms, natural, un-natural, and various types in-between.

For example:-

Spirulina is classed as a vitamin, or superfood.
It is a naturally grown algae containing many nutrients.

Do you class that as a 'dangerous chemical' ? Or do you not know what
spirulina is?

What about Chlorella ? Echinacea ? Ginkgo Biloba ? Maca ? St. John's wort ?
Red clover ? Dandelion root preparations ? Wheatgrass ? Ginseng ?
etc etc etc etc

In fact, all the raw 'herbal vitamins' with no additives ?
Bach flower remedies ? Various natural tinctures ?

The list is endless of 'naturallly-derived vitamins'

It's about as natural as you can get (apart from growing it yourself and
powdering/preparing it).

A far cry from being 'dangerous chemicals'

And i'm sure a million herbalists/homeopathists would agree.

I'm not disputing the fact that many of the un-natural vitamins are shit
for us, what i am concerned about is that when 'codex alimentarius' comes
into action, then probably ALL products classed as 'vitamins' will be removed.

And in my opinion, this daily mail article is a step towards conditioning the
'masses' to believe that anything except the 'food' they're trying to force
on us, is shit, and lying to us with their invented statements and bollocks
'facts and figures'...which are vague at best.

Most supplements have toxic exipients such as magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide and other names I can't even remember how to spell but are by products of the plastic industry.

Magnesium stearate is made from hydrogenated fat and research shows destroys the T cells (primary immune function. On top of that synthetic vitamin C ( ascorbic acid) blocks your uptake of real vitamin c so I recommend that you get something like camu camu or ascerola cherry for natural vitamin C.

Although people may benefit frm synthetic vitamins they just mimic as they do not resonate with body chemistry. There are natural vitamins to be had free of exipients ie Quantum Rx and xyergy products and probably a few others, they are difficult to get in the UK though
