So what’s the deal with “natural flavors” or “natural flavorings”
as an ingredient in most food stuffs.
Flavor is not an ingredient!
Its everywhere now a days. I think some one is playing a joke on us.

One day when I was a kid I was quietly eating my alphabet soup when the word DIE appeared on my spoon. It was my first experience into the world of illuminati symbolism and subliminal mind control :D

No way, no way! When I was a kid,
Alphabet soup used to step on heels when I walked to school, so they hurt.
Crazy illuminati bastards.

If you look, apartame and monosodium glutomate is added to almost everything these days, even things that have both sugar and salt in already.
David has found out that they don't even need to state what flavouring it is, a simple flavourings or yeast extract can be written instead.
Since i saw David's 1st DVD at brixton, i have looked at everything i have bought and the sheer amount of food which has had it added since i first saw the DVD is stupid. Considering i only saw it in October 2005, most foods now have either MSG or aspartame in the ingredients.
Walkers sensations crisps, have salt, sugar and both MSG and aspartame in, why would you need all of that crap in one packet of crisps.

Lol, take a look at the logo on the front of the packet. What is Walkers crisps company logo???

That's right, a Sun with what could be interpreted as a "serpentine" like banner going all the way around it. Hmmm, but of course, "Sun" featured logos with "Serpents" going around them are pretty common.

Hi jimbo & welcome :)
Thanks for that, I'd never noticed that about Walkers before, totally in your face though when you realise!
I was also shocked at the amount of this crap that's in almost everything we consume. They try make you think that No Added Sugar is better for our kids etc, when its actually much worse with the added aspartame/sweeters & saccharine  My 5 year old is clued up on it now & won't have anything unless it's got proper sugar or glucose (or water which he knows is better), he tells his mates too :)
I was also shocked at the different disguised names MSG has, the list is endless
Here's the MSG link from a while back if anyone's interested...

On a serious note these additives are neuro toxins or rot your brain in other words.

Here is something that really, I mean really pissed me off.
I was buying some honey. good-old-fashion-awesome honey, right?
And when I got home I noticed a sticker that said
“ NOW with real honey flavorings!”
I thought what the fuck?
Checked the ingredients.
Honey, high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, honey flavor.
I threw a fit and didn’t eat it.
Now I make sure to get my honey at the farmers market.

OMG, that's awful  Although I'd say grab the honey while you can with the way the bee situation is going, which is tragic!! Everytime I see one in the garden now I'm so thankful as I'm not sure how long they're gonna be around for.
I just had to check my honey jar after reading your post, but am pleased to say it just says "pure honey", phew!!

Yep, I'll be real concerned with honey that contains preservatives, I've never seen that before and honey dosen't need chemicals/preservatives.

Yeah, thats why I was so pissed off.
I pay a little but more, but now I get my honey straight out of the comb.
Locally, and let me tell ya, it is Divine.

Oh yes, fresh honey, mmmmm.
Corn syrup in honey, why on earth? Wasn't it sweet enough:confused:

I tasted it and it was totally gross. It tasted like candy honey not real honey.
At fist I thought I fucked up and bought some sort of candy.
No way I thought, could these people be serious. Euww.
Also it was too runny.

I can imagine, yuk, if they need to put honey flavor in it it must be quite bad.
I am also so tired of fruits and veggies all tasting the same, I guess for you lucky guys who live in warmer climates its easier to find fruits that taste like they are supposed to(?) but here you are lucky if you can taste the diffrence between a lime and a pear:) !
Luckily I can have my own garden here and get some proper veggies in the autumn at least.
My dream is to be self sufficient when it comes to the basic vegetables and fruits, but Im waiting until we have our own grounds!
Any other garden enthusiasts out there by the way?

oooh yes pollock- i am a total garden lover!! although don't look at it right now- its under construction!!lol- lots of mounds of mud everywhere as we had a wall built recently- but my garden in the summer is my haven- its like an extention of the house- an extra room!! shame i live in such a built up area though- i cant get any peace- traffic and the usual noise but as a result i dont even get to hear the sweet sound of the birds and nature itself- which is something i miss tremendously(i was brought up in such a remote area in the countryside). I'd love to grow my own veg- im sick of the crap im sold especially in the supermarket- i mean since when was a carrott the same size as a cucumber? the other day i bought a bag for my rabbit and jesus they were certainly GM- they were abnormally gigantic!! they tasted tasteless- even the rabbit didnt want them!!
i havn't enough room in my garden though to grow veg- as much as i'd love to and i think the rabbit would only eat it all as fast as i could grow them as he has free range to wander the garden!!!LOL!! roll on that farm and land i want in the middle of nowhere!!:D

Yes, gardening is one of those things that are as good as meditating for me, we are currently renting a lovely peice of land so I have some room but not really the time at the moment for all the projects I have in my head.
I did manage to put together a small vegetable area last year, I went for the boxes because its so much easier and its all mostly for the fun and so my son can get to learn about it as early as possible!
Ill post a pic later
The boy is awake I gotta go
