Do you know, where I live, you get BANNED form your local library for moving the Bible over to the Fiction section!.. go figure!
The Bible was supposed to be the word of God [I'm Atheist, so don't believe in any god].. but it states somewhere that you cannot make brass from it, in a more none Yorkshire way, so they made a K.James version so they could copyright it.
So what do you think greenleaf, that the whole thing is some happy accident, which anyone with half a brain can prove that it's not or do you believe in Matrix theory but that would still have a designer in charge. I agree that the Abrahamic God concept is the biggest scam around, or at least one of the biggest. But so is Hinduism and Buddhism and all the other mind controlled crap. But how does the aetheist accept the big bang or evolution when again anyone with half a brain knows we have little ancestral links with monkey's and something could not possibly come out of nothing and if it did then the universe is far fucking stranger than anybody understands.
I'm nothing. Not religous, political and all the other crap. I've learnt that it is very devisive and is the reason for people being in the psoition they are in.
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I've just heard many any aetheist say well, "I'm an aetheist because I don't believe in God and that's that." Or they'll say, "If God is real why would he let wars and starvation happen?" But these statements do not take away the fact that the world / universe could have been designed without a caring designer just to see how it would work out. I'm not saying I agree with that either.
You see the proof of the matter is an aetheist has no more proof than the religious nutcase who believes in God, he just has a different label. One believes and the other doesn't. They both believe but just in different ways. Opposames. Unlike me, who does neither. Maybe I just and wait. Maybe I'm a waiter, "Dinner's served. More peas with your roast Sir?"
