Here's another example of discriminating against English people in England for loving their country, just so none-English people won't get offended and using a tattoo as the excuse!

A patriotic Englishman, returns from the privations of Iraq, keen to continue with his public service and applies to join his local police force. A commendable and public spirited act most right thinking people would conclude.

Well, not if you are Greater Manchester Police. Oh no, just by having a tattoo on your arm extolling your love of country - England, is enough to consign you to the unemployment scrap heap, so infested with political correctness has the force now become.

What has happened to the mealy mouthed platitudes about free speech, freedon of expression etc??? Weren't these the very values our boys were fighting to preserve in Iraq? Wasn't the disreputable Blair pinning his whole being on bringing democracy to nations blighted by dicatators? Wasn't it all about freedom???.......

Not a bit of it. The same two faced anti libertarian, controlling communistic nonesense we have been putting up with for the last ten years, rears its ugly head in blatant and manifest example of race discrimination. The very same discrimination, if perpetrated against any other ethnic or minority group, would guarantee a trip to the police station and hours of intimidating questioning.

Apparently if you are English you are invisible and worse than that you don't count.

Let the Sun newspaper reveal the full horror of Brown's England in 2008.........

"PATRIOTIC squaddie Craig Briggs has been barred from joining the police — because he’s got an ENGLAND tattoo on his arm.

The Iraq veteran, 22, had wanted to be a cop since childhood and was advised to join the Army to get experience first.

But when he applied he was told: “Unfortunately, some people feel intimidated by the word England.”

Last night Craig, who has just completed 4½ years with the 3rd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment, said: “I am shocked and disgusted. "I don’t understand how it can cause offence. It is our country, after all.”

Craig applied to join Greater Manchester Police shortly before returning to civvy street this month."

EH???

That is ridiculous! Is it allowed to be told you are not able to join the police force with a tattoo that is too english???

A force spokesman said: “We expect officers to look professional.

"This tattoo was clearly visible. As it does not meet our rigorous standards, his application was rejected.”

If he was in the army aren't their standards just as rigorous!!!

What!!!

I've had the misfortune to bump into plenty of coppers with tats on there forearms which are clearly visable, it sounds to me they dont want patriotic people in the force in case they refuse to turn on the English man in the street when the time comes.

It depends upon the definition/interpretation of the actual words 'proud to be British' I suppose.

I'm English and for me it's more an independence issue. We rule ourselves, no exception! British is was all about the old 'out in the open' British Empire. But we gave it back apparently and now they're all free, they are living happily ever after.

I believe the government are doing this because they want to stir up hate against the middle east...

they will simply impose other religions on us and other cultures more and more until there i a back lash and they will use this back lash to create divide.... and hate to the middle east... so they can go in and finish the job....

have to be careful.. its very important that all the races in Briton stick together and don't let the small few (probably created by the government) to create the divide and conflict.

Yeah, it's not the people doing this, it's all coming from the top down, not from our next door neighbour, where ever they are from! I'm covering some of this in my film, very interesting and everyone should know the manipulation going on with Problem, Reaction, Solution and devid and rule!

would the tatto be on show when he was working as a police man ....No, the riot gear should cover it.

Tatto's not very common purpose..... or would the EU flag with GB along side like the car number plates be better.... for fck sake he's in the army ... many of them get tattos, even the Police most know that.

Does it all really come from the top down? Maybe there really is a third column here (in England). For example, why should Muslims continually demand special treatment? These continual stories in the newspapers about Muslims being the awkward squad and trying to create a parallel Britain/England must be based on some sort of reality. So today

'Muslim sex offenders may avoid rehab'

Maybe your film will cover this sort of thing.
