Anyone acquainted with numerology will understand that the one contains all other #s. Society as One.. is society. Society as three is Religion/Science/Art. The Three Pillars of Society.
-- Religion is self discovery.
--Science is the use of Logic/Reason.
-- Art is creative expression.

All these seemingly independent entities are really interdependent. Art needs Science. Science needs Religion. Religion needs Art and Science and so forth. Get rid of any one of them and what do you have? -- something missing. In other words, Science without religion might be materialism or empiricism. Religion without Reason is, as someone said, possibly fanaticism or blind faith. Deny the existance of any one of these and life faulters.-- society tumbles.

It has come to my attention that 99.9 % of the population.-- that's 999 out of 1,000 people do not "get" religion. They just don't get it. 999 out of a 1,000! Can you just accept that maybe you don't get it?, and stop condemning those few (only 1 in 1,000) who do? Because religion is a Pillar of Society.. you can not do without it. Religion is self-discovery. Dont try to stop Self-discovery. Realize that some are more advanced in this Science/Art than others.

Another way to look at it is this: Take 1000 people, and you will find that 500 people will want to change their lives. 500 people will be happy with the way things are. Of those 500 who want to change their lives 1/2 of them will do so in a positive way and 1/2 will do so in a negative way..

So 250 people will want to change their lives by taking drugs, moving to a new town, taking a new spouse, etc.. And 250 people will want to work on themselves in some way.

Of those 250 people 150 people will want to change their lives by changing their financial situation, or losing weight, stop smoking, seeing a Psychiatric doctor.. 100 will look to spiritual changes, change who they are, desire a journey of self discovery.

Of those 100 only 1 will get it. Only 1 will understand that it is not an easy task, will understand that 99.9% of the population does not get it, will take to the correct practice of religion.

I know you do, octopusrex... I just said that. You are common in your beliefs. At least David thinks what no one else does.. That God is a Reptile creation. Von Daniken, I believe, used to say God was an Astronaut. Come up with something original, creative and reasonable.

How about: God is a reptile?

99.9% don't get it. 1 in 10 will even try to, due to a desire for change. God couldn't be a reptile, because a reptile wouldn't have a thought, that had a dream, that had an idea, that created you. You and all your world is a creation, of an idea, of a dream, of a thought of God. And only 1 person in 10 will even come close to understanding what I just said. Just a fact of this life.

I watched a movie the other day, THE BALLAD OF JACK AND ROSE. They had tried to create a society based on Self Discovery, Art and Science, but it failed. The science was there; they were quite adept at creating energy from nature, organic gardening, building eco-homes, etc.. The art was there; writing, painting, music. But the self-discovery turned to self-destruct and the experiment failed. Self-discovery was limited to minor freedoms to explore and express. They did not take the self discovery to it's next level? Instead it degenerated to self-discovery through excessive Drugs, Sex and Rock and Roll. Really. One of the pillars of society stood on sand. By the end of the movie the last remaining member, had no idea who he was, or if any of what he had been doing even mattered. SELF DISCOVERY.. the forgotten ART/SCIENCE -- AKA religion.
