I was wondering if anyone here takes melatonin on a regular basis ? I do but thiers times i am with out it due to lack of cash to get it , or it may be sold out in the store . I used to get the 10mgs when they were available but i know now all u can get is the 3 mgs due to government regulations . I usually take 10 or so tablets at a time cuz i try to compensate for the low dosage . Ive loked at the other ingrediants in the tablets , thier nothing more then fillers that make the tablet disolve and mold when made and to swell and take water to help it desolve . so doesent seem to be anything in it that would hinder the penial gland . I do know that thier are several countries like germany who make melatonin illegal to sell over the counter some other european unions and new zealand . Ive been taking it off and on for over 15 yrs . Anyone who has been taking it longer and how has it affected ur inner sight and dreams ? I have read in south america there are shammans who take melatonin in huge massive doses befor they cunduct rituals . That this helps them walk between the dimentions . anyone else herd the same kind of thing?

No but sounds like a good idea I guess. We need all the pineal gland activation we can get.

I just learned that sodium fluoride accumulates in...(drum roll)the PINEAL GLAND!

NaF is used as a cleaning agent, often to remove iron stains. A variety of specialty chemical applications exist in synthesis and extractive metallurgy. NaF is a reagent for the synthesis of fluorocarbons. Representative substrates include electrophilic chlorides including acyl chlorides, sulfur chlorides, and phosphorus chloride.[3] Like other fluorides, NaF finds use in desilylation in organic synthesis.

Fluoride salts were used widely to enhance the strength of teeth by the formation of fluoroapatite, a naturally occurring component of tooth enamel. In the US, NaF was once used to fluoridate drinking water but its use has been displaced by hexafluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) or its sodium salt (Na2SiF6). Toothpaste often contains sodium fluoride to prevent cavities.

Seems the one thing that stands out here is Extractive metallurgy which can extract mono atomic gold if uve been taking it .

Hello "exicutioner"

I use low dose of melatonin now and then,
when my sleeping rythm is out of balance and i got something important to do early the next day.

I try to take it as less as possible,
cause i think that using it too much may disable the natural ability to fall asleep easily... ?

So, you've been taking it for a long time and probably much more than I have.
Can you still sleep without melatonin?
How has it effected your sleeping ability?

I use melatonin when I find myself unable to sleep - They only sale 3mg however I usually end up taking 6mg and I am able to sleep through the whole night. I Love it because it enables me to remember my VERY VIVID dreams :-) I would suggest melatonin to anyone who has a "sleeping problem" so that they won't get stuck on icky prescription meds. I would also recommend it for anyone wanting to explore the "dream-time land."

Hi rossus,
Yes ive been taking it for along time ,As far as sleeping i can fall asleep with out it and at times ive gone as much as 4 or so months with out it . When i am a few months off it my dreams deminish down to i close my eyes all goes black then they are open and ive slept for 8 or more hours . With no memory of any type of dreams at all . that seems to be the only thing it effects is dreams . when im on it again after a few months off it my dreams begin right from the first dosage . So other then no dreams it seems not to affect anything else . I just wish i could get it in the 10 mgs or higher .

I don't think you can get it at all on the highstreet in the UK. I've only just heard of it and ordered my first bottle 2 days ago

Yes, for years I have been hearing this all over the internet too, and its now a widely held view, yet when I did some research to try and ascertain the source of this information, I could find no research, no studies, only heresay.

I believe its very likely a nice little bit of propaganda put 'out there' by the drug company drones, who insist on demonising ANY substance that competes with their very lucrative sleeping pill market. Remember what they did to L-tryptophan?....the big scandal that allowed them to take it off the market? They had to do something, as it was such an effective natural sleep enducer and anti-stress supplement, people were going to their health shop in droves rather than making an appointment to see their quack for a script! And unlike drugs, it is completely safe!

Also there's the fact that Melatonin has been shown in many studies to be so incredibly good for us in so many ways, not least of which is its ability to work as a powerful antioxidant and cancer preventative! How about that? A natural hormone that may thwart cancer!! They don't tell you that because its not in their best interest to do so.....got to keep cancer on the increase so the 'Cancer Industry' can keep making their hefty profits at everyone's expense. Melatonin also helps people who suffer migraines, and can lift depression very quickly....not to mention that an age-related deficiency can be involved in early onset Alzheimers! This is valuable information given the predicted forthcoming Alzheimers epidemic!

I would be inclined to suggest anybody over the age of 50 take Melatonin at at least the 3mg dose every day, as Melatonin production decreases as we age.

Then of course there is the pineal/3rd-eye stuff that is now being better understood. We need a good supply of Melatonin to connect us to our 'greater selves' via the dream-state, and our psychic connections/visualisation, and due to the many substances that interfare with our pineal functioning (the fluoride/chlorine connection in particular), it may turn out that taking Melatonin is the very substance that will reconnect us ALL to who we really are.

So as far as I can make out, there is nothing to fear from taking a daily amount of Melatonin!!! ;)

I started taking melatonin. I've been an insomniac for many years and have tried a lot of sleeping aids. Melatonin does just as well as the others and it seems to give me better dreams. About a 1/2 hour after taking some I get a nice comfy, sleepy feeling.

As far as the Cancer Industry goes, it's all a big scam. I was in the grocery market today and noticed a yogurt that read Fat Free, All Natural. I flipped the little cup over to find that it had in it, clearly written on the back, aspartame as an ingredient. Then I pass the bottled water section and Dannon has a big advertisement promoting their water WITH ADDED FLUORIDE for children.

It makes me so sad to see the world so sick and diseased. No one seems to notice. No one seems to care. A lot of good people are feeding themselves and little children poison. This society is so sick and diseased, I can't wait for its collapse. The sickness weighs me down. There is going to be a much better way soon.

Hi Empyblessing,
I hear u there with the collapsing of this world , like my responce to a post i did in i believe the tracking RH- board . Although i do know that even if 90% of humans knew what some things do to them , im assured they'd still take them out of spite . But as for humanity a majority of them need thier asses kicked off the planet as well . I see those kind every day , and if thier is such a disaster like the deluge those things are not predjudice and would wipe out decent people along with the shitty and the reptiles who control and rape molest and such .

I often find my self sickened by people and thier habbits , They are the only animal that destroys its environment along with everything else it touches. Every yr u hear this drug or plant or food is good for u , the next yr its bad and u need to stop eating it as much . Wished people would make thier damn minds up .

one thing is for sure, melatonin makes you remember dreams. i've taken it only a dozen times or so and the first few days were unbelievable. i must have remembered all of the dreams i saw. strangely, the effect kind of faded out after a while.

Exicutioner151m my aunt and uncle said that it was a natural chemical that ur body creates to help u sleep. so it should be ok to take in regulation.

GABA does not cross the blood brain barrier I am afraid, your probably getting little more than a placebo effect. Check it out for yourself.

If it did cross the BBB it wouldn't be legal as it would wipe the need for benzo's and alchohol off the market as these directly stimulate the GABA receptors.

Melatonin was made prescription only (UK) last year I think but you can still buy it online in the UK. A friend takes it for sleeping issues and swears by it.

It's a synthetic chemical that big pharma CLAIMS mimics a brain chemical they don't really understand.

Are you SURE you want to circumvent your body's own defenses with something that's untested, with no history and no good explanation of how it supposedly works?

It's a CHEMICAL for crying out loud!

Thanks for this post. I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping and I am really dragging. I was out of work for a while and got used to staying up later and later at night. Now I'm back working and I can't get to sleep until 4 or 5 am, and I have to get up at 7. I forgot all about Melatonin. Gonna try some at night.

The best sleep aid of all time was GHB. They banned it supposedly because it was being used as a date rape drug, but really they banned it because it actually helped people and was cutting into the profits of the sleep pharmaceuticals like Ambien.

Melatonin does work well as a sleep aid on occasion, but I don't recommend any supplement for long term use.

Well, I took 4mg last night. It didn't do a damn thing, and in fact all i did was toss and turn all night until i got up at 7 and turned off my alarm right before it went off.

Your better off taking L-Tryptophan before bed with a B-Vit tablet, Zinc and something to elicit a small insulin response, an apple is good, but any carbs TAKEN ALONE will work, the slower releasing the better. You will sleep like a log. Tryptophan is the amino acid precursor of Serotonin and Melatonin. Your body knows what to do if you give it the raw materials it needs. No need to take synthetic Melatonin, I tried it ages ago and it didnt do shit...
