Due to friends pulling out, I now have two spare tickets for the David Icke talk on the 24th May in London. The seats are located in the middle of the front row.
Is anybody interested?

Are you willing to sell them for what you paid for them as opposed to what you can get from the highest bidder?
Groan...hope this doesn't give people the idea of buying up future tickets and putting them up for auction on ebay. In other circles this practise has been banned.
I'll buy the tickets for what you paid for them. No? Thought not.

I don't think it's that unreasonable to sell spare tickets on Ebay. It's not like anybody is forced to buy them. People will pay as much as they think they're worth...

You could consider making a donation to David Icke with the money your making from the tickets, say half the profits you make.

Yes! There are some members who want to go, but can't afford the inflated prices.

Just a coincidence eh! Hey bernardsmith, my total respect to you if you sell for the same price you paid for them. Middlemen = lazy f*****s who can't do their own work & have to make money off other peoples hard work.
I could never have afforded to see Icke had I tried to buy my ticket through a tout.
Fucking freeloaders!

The way things are going I can see Icke's team booking the NEC in birmingham in a few years time, on your doorstep.

What a prick... That is genuinely the reason I'm selling them...
So you're telling me that if you were selling a car for example, and two people were interested in buying it - one for the price that you paid and one for more than what you paid, you wouldn't sell it to the person that was offering more?! Don't be ridiculous... I have debts and bills to pay, just like the rest of you. If somebody is willing to pay me more than what I paid then so be it, it's not like I'm holding anybody at gunpoint...
If people are going to get that fucking uptight about it, why didn't they just buy tickets while they were still on sale?
Knob.

But if someone wants to go to se David really badly and all the tickets are being sold at tout prices then they have no choice. Either fork up a fortune or forget it! You have the chance here to help out your fellow forum members. What's more, by selling tickets are a reasonable price you'll be undercutting all the competition. Come on! Be kind! This is not Ebay!

If they wanted to go THAT badly, why didn't they buy tickets while they were still on sale? Tickets were available for a good couple of months before they sold out...

I sympathize with your point though. I must seem like a capitalist scumfuck. If I didn't have debt collectors knocking on my door almost every day I would gladly sell the tickets for what I paid, but unfortunately I need every penny I can get.
I can't really even afford to go myself to be honest, but as it's David and I've never seen him before, I'm willing to stretch my budget slightly...

But you're not selling a car are you. I also have debts and bills to pays, as most here do, also, things got that bad I had to start claiming Job seekers this year. Not nice I tell you. If you know anyone who wants a website or film made let me know. I don't mind working for my money;)

How ironic that somebody who is on the dole attempts to take some kind of self-righteous high ground with me for selling something on Ebay for more than I paid...

Hi bernard
Sorry but I have deleted the ebay link as we do not permit advertising.
I am sure someone will buy it on ebay without being advertised here. If you wish to negotiate privately with anyone here, for a fair price, that will be fine.

Have you not seen Dondaz's movies?
Just because someone's not spending 40 hours a week chained up in some inhuman factory for a few crumbs for the corporate table doesn't mean they're not doing something useful with their lives, you know.

I couldn't agree more, and I commend the guy if he's making an effort to spread the word. But at the same time, don't you think it's slightly hypocritical to be calling other people 'freeloaders'?

I've paid enough tax over the years and so has my family. The government have taken much more from me than I have been given back. Hardly a freeloader mate!

Double standards really, if Icke's msg was at all important don't you think he'd want as many people to know as possible, I couldn't afford to got to see Icke even if i wanted to.

£102.00 for one ticket? Omg..
Its really funny that people would pay sp much for a ticket they couldve got for 1/4 of the price 6 months ago.
I don't blame the geezer for selling it..it's only worth as much as people are prepared to pay for it.

Imagine if Icke auctioned all his tickets on e-bay, most would be calling him names. Just because you can doesn't mean you should!

I've been through all this before with Glastonbury festival tickets. Touts cause misery with their greed but find no end of excuses to justify their actions and sadly they are supported by those of us who are willing to pay their inflated prices. The last few times that I've gone to Cardiff to see bands I've waited until the majority of the crowd has entered the venue then approached the touts who by then are willing to sell at less than face value, they would rather get some money than take back home what have become worthless bits of paper.

£30 is a very cheap price for a day-long show at a top London venue. Amy Winhouse was at the same place a few months earlier and charged £58 for a show that was less than two hours long!
David has to charge in order to run his business. If somebody is selling second-hand tickets then they have a right to charge too. But what right do they have to charge at a 300% inflated price!? We're not dealing with strangers here, but fellow members of our forum community who'd really love to see David live and can't afford it.

I've still got the 2003 tickets somewhere. I'll see.
But if the price has gone up I'm not surprised. The tickets for Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre in Soho went up quite a bit in price too between the two times I went to see it. Must be the cost of performing in the Big Smoke.
