I'm not going to go into very deep details, but I'll just put it like this...

THE CONDOM BROKE!!!11!!

What can I do to pervent anything from happening.

From what I remember hearing. She is about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks away from her next period. So her last period was about 2 weeks to 3 weeks ago. What are the chances of her getting pregnant?

I'm very sorry for being so personal on the board like this, but I'm scared. :(

Sounds like she's is in mid cycle, meaning there is a very good chance of getting pregnant, if she is like most women she’s ovulating now, if you don’t want a baby get to the doctors or a clinic and get the emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours. Good luck :D

What does it do?

I've heard that certain pills will make the "fetus" fall out, bleeding, from the vagina.. I don't want her being traumatized by this..

Secondly, how much would they cost?

She will come on her period but if she’s only pregnant by 1 day there is no fetus it doesn’t even exist yet!! So it wont be traumatizing it’s just like a normal cycle. Standard prescription cost should do it, what’s that like 6.79 or something and I think you can get them free from a clinic but not 100% on that.

Hi His Lordship, All the 'morning after' pill does is bring on her period nice and normally. The 'fetus' that you talk of would have to viewed through an extremely powerful microscope..and even then it would appear as a tiny blob of nothing stuff!!!
It depends on where you live in the world....but here in New Zealand a youngster can go to a General Practitioner, or STD Clinic etc and receive these things for free. We have a huge subsidised contraception regime going at present. I think you'll find that it would be just the cost of a consultation...but you would be wise to get that pill, as mid cycle (as others have intimated) is the most fertile time. Good-Luck to you both :-)) and remember to keep on smiling.......!!

Look, I live in the netherlands. Last night, the condom broke and I came in her.

Now, we both freaked out, and there is no way in hell I want to keep this. Niether her, nor I have the resources to support a child yet. I am not going to be cruel about this child. BUT FUCK!

Alright, what pills would be best for one?

The morning after pill? I thought that was to keep you from getting sick?
Secondly, what was the pill that needs to be taken within 72 hours of conception?

Stop freaking out H1s L0rdsh1p and get your girlfriend to a doctor or clinic IMMEDIATELY and ask for "The morning after pill". You have limited time to act on this, so get your skates on and just do it.

Everything will work out fine. Stop worrying. :)

I'm at work. She's in rotterdam, I'm in amsterdam. I've already called her and told her to go now now now...

But how good do they work???

I want children, I know they're a joy. BUT NOT NOW!
I'm living in an apartment with mates right now, making only 1400 euros a month, there is no way I can ever support a child..

Are their like spells aswell that I can do??

I'm willing to go after anything

* It's beautiful that abortion is legal in America. I love going to abortion rallies to pick up women, cause you know they're fuckin'. You ain't gonna find a bunch of virgins at the abortion rally, you might even see some clear heels! [referring to strippers]

* Oh the abortion issue, it's a woman's issue. When a woman get pregnant she don't want to hear shit from the man. Fuck you, muthafuck you, I don't need you. Unless she decides to have the baby and she like "Where my cheque?"

* When a woman get pregnant it's an issue between her and her girlfriends. When a woman get pregnant her and her girlfriends form an abortion tribunal and they vote on the child like it was Survivor. Then the first girlfriend throws in her two cents "child you should have that baby that man got some good hair, it's wavy it's wavy" Then second girlfriend throws in her two cents. "Girl, why are we even talking about this. Ain't we supposed to go to Cancun next weekend? GET RID OF THAT BABY". And that's how life is decided in America

While your taking her to the doctors, and you are having regular sex, wouldn't it be prudent to use another form of contraception alltogether, like the pill or a diaphram and spermacide? just an idea, it would save this thing happening in the future, condoms are notorious for breaking

I feel for you and your girl, but every one here is right, it will be so much worse for her if you wait on this, a full scale abortion is the worst thing a woman can do to herself, believe me I know. Also of course it is a life altering thing to get a child, but that brings blessings as well.
When I was young I had an abortion, although tecnically the right thing to do (no father, 19 years old, no job, no future) , has also killed some bit of me, not a big one but the grief is there even if it was 24 years ago, and put in the same situation with the knowledge I have now, there is nooooo way I would do it.
So my advise, get the girl to promise to go and get a pill, and relax.
Part of the panic is about not wanting to get rid of it, but feeling it has to be done for external reasons, at least thats how it felt for me!
Also she may not be pregnant at all, so Don't panic just do the right thing!

I hope everything sorts itself out!

Infertile thoughts

Ps it also should have thought me to treat sex with a lot more respect but only a lot of mistakes did that Ds

Spells? while you are at the doctor you may want to get your self a sedative and calm down a bit.
This has happened to all of us at one time or another.
The morning after pill is very effective especially if taken in the first 48 hours.
there are two pills. One then another EXACTLY 12 hours later.

All I can say is atleast someone is getting some....:D ;)

I'm not a great advocate of The Pill.....its too destructive on a woman's hormones long term. Condoms are usually great (99% effective), but there's always that chance of a breakage like you have experienced.

First thing I'd do while you're pondering your options is change brands! :D

If you are going to stay in this relationship for a while, an IUD may be a good options. It worked well for me and other women I've known, and its not so 'passion robbing' at times of intimacy. ;)

I can vouch for what limelady is suggesting above. many stories around about IUD's but I had one for five years and had no problems whatsover. just make sure your girlfriend avoids the one with the 'progestins' as part of it.
This is a fake synthetic form of progesterone and very dangerous to female health. They do anything they can nowadays to fill us up with artificial hormones. Avoid at all costs except in an emergency. All of this in my opinion yet I have spent many years researching these topics.
