Two social workers were walking through a rough part of the town in the evening. They heard moans and muted cries for help from a back lane. Upon investigation, they found a semi-conscious man in a pool of blood."Help me-I've been mugged and viciously beaten" he pleaded. The two social workers turned and walked away. One remarked to her colleague:"You know the person that did this really needs help".

my post doesn't really belong here, I work for the the social services, at the arse end actually, my work brings me into contact with the most damaged children in the country, I have a trade (carpenter) that would allow me to earn a lot more money if I chose to. For a number of years I was one of the highest paid outdoor pursuits instructors in this country(U.K.), I have taken the children of the wealthiest people climbing, caving, mountaineering, rafting, I could go on. I have worked in the U.S.A.,France ,Italy, I could go on. On occasion I have given my time free of charge to raise money for local underfunded youth projects. Ten years ago I began working with the aforementioned damaged children, some of whom have not only left people bleeding but have killed, some have burnt houses, some have burnt cars, some have burnt people. Some have done such horrific things that knowing the details has prevented me from sleeping because when I close my eyes the pictures in my mind take over. The children I have chosen to work with have spat in my face,(not all of them obviously) thrown televisions at my head (not all of them obviously) punched me, kicked me and abused me verbally. I could go on .
I am now offering you the chance to meet me in person and kick me in the teeth. My name is James Clarke, and I am a social worker.
