They are actually two mottos and both are taken from Vergil. "Annuit Coeptis" comes from the Aeneid and means "He favors our (daring) undertakings". In the Aeneid, it referred to Jupiter, but here there is no subject, although many think the 'eye of providence' is the subject.
"Novus Ordo Seclorum" does not mean "New World Order", but "New Order of the Ages". It comes from one of Vergil's Eclogues and relates to a prophecy of a child that comes from the heavens and starts a new order of the ages. This was commonly thought to refer to Christ, which is why Vergil's work has survived better than many Roman literature. The Christians didn't destroy it.

"Novus Ordo Mundi" is "New World Order"

The above is from a post on another site in regards to the Latin phrases (above and below the pyramid) on the Great Seal of the USA, that I believe to be accurate.

Annuit Coeptis, the subject as stated above is Jupiter.
Jupiter is king of all gods and governs all the deeds of man.
The eye of providence (the Blazing Star of Freemasonry, the upside down 5 pointed star, the image of the King in the OES, the Star of Bethlehem) represents Jupiter/Satan as the King/Lucifer, enlightening man and governing all the deeds of man.
The Lucifer = the Christ/King of kings.
Satan is set up as the Christ but is not, therefore it is Antichrist, the instead of Christ.
It/they are not the bringer of light but darkness.

Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike
page 14
“The blazing Star…an emblem of Divine Providence, and commemorative of the star which appeared to guide the wise men of the East”

Page 15
According to English masonry,
“The Blazing Star…refers us to that grand luminary, the sun, which enlightens the earth”
“The Blazing Star…as an emblem of…the ALL-seeing Eye”

KJV Bible, Masonic Edition, 1932 copy by A. J. Holman, in the section titled "History and Facts concerning the Order of The Eastern Star" these words are found,
"The Star of Bethlehem...as the emblem of the Order...its five points" and at the end of this section, in the "CONCLUSION" these words are found,
"the initiate...are stamped with the image of the King."

So, according to Freemasonry (Robert Morris, the founder of the OES) the Star of Bethlehem is the upside down 5 pointed star and this star is the image of the King.

The subject Jupiter = Satan.

To understand what Satan is, is to understand it is not a conscious freewill entity therefore it cant favor anything.

The one that actually does the favoring is the one the likeness thereof stands in New York, Ishtar.
As mentioned in the Bible a woman rides the beast.
She rides (controls/guides) the beast Satan.

The men behind Satan (which is not a conscious freewill entity, it is a symbol of an agenda/religion) are saying, via the eye in the capstone that, they and Satan are the rulers/King of the world.
The agenda is world domination.
They/Satan are the Chief Cornerstone.

The dc beast is the abomiNATION of desolation.

Novus Ordo Seclorum (new order of the ages) as stated above from Vergil’s Eclogues is in regards to a child that comes from the heavens and starts a new order of the ages, thought to be Christ i.e. Jesus Christ.
In the Masonic Lodge Jesus is a symbol for the Lodge/d.c. beast Satan.
This child that comes down from heaven is not Jesus but Satan.

heavens = planned, it was a concept/plan.
Comes from = actually set up in the real world, no longer a plan.

In the bible the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven, that New Jerusalem is Washington D.C./America, where the Masonic child Satan is.
Heaven = concept/plan.
Comes down from = actually set up in the real world.

Woe to those (minions/patriots) who are with child, the child Satan.

Seclorum is where we get our word secular (world) from.

Satan/Masonic Lodge is the new order of the ages, for the world.

To see a highlighted map of Washington DC showling an UPSIDE DOWN CROSS with Satan atop the upside down cross click the link. I use the map showing east up so as to make the beast and upside down cross easier to view, so north is to the left.

Hi theLucifer,

You've been reading that disinfo datarag Wikipedia again, haven't you? I can tell...

You contradict yourself on the subject of New World Order, as it was in the Old Latin. First you say, as Wiki now does, that "Novus Ordo Seclorum" means New Order of the Ages, then later you say (correctly) "Seclorum" is the word for World, not "ages".

Therefore, Novus Ordo Seclorum does mean in actual historic fact, New World Order.

"Novus Ordo Mundi" means New World Power, because the word MUNDI originally meant "Power" in Latin. As in hidden power, or Super-power. Ever heard the phrase "Axis Mundi", meaning axis-power?

Annui Coeptis, means "OUR ENDEVOUR" or "OUR ENTERPRISE". It's Masonic, and refers to what the insiders call the Great Work. The blessing of god upon it is debatable, though assumed by them or implicit in the phrase is that God favours these hidden powers and their endevours/enterprises.

Now...

The Jesus-as-Lucifer bit you explained, which has been oft discussed on this forum (in heated fashion), I would like to know a little bit more about that from the perspective of that Masonic 1932 version of the KJV you said you read.

Can U elabourate a little? :) Thanks.

The idea that Novus Ordo Seclorum means "New World Order" comes from the conspiracy theorists' mistaking the latin word "Seclorum" for "Seculorum". (This is also how others, including the OP, mistakingly conclude that "Seclorum" alludes to secularism.)

Seclorum (the word in the motto) is originally spelled in Latin with the "grapheme", "ae", as in "Saeclorum". Often the latin letter "ae" is simplified as just "e".

http://lysy2.archives.nd.edu/cgi-bin/words.exe?saeclorum

saeclorum

saecl.orum N 2 2 GEN P N
saeclum, saecli N (2nd) N [XXXCO]
age; generation, people born at a time; breed, race; present time/age; century;

"Seculorum", though similar in spelling, has a completely different meaning:

http://lysy2.archives.nd.edu/cgi-bin/words.exe?seculorum

seculorum

secul.orum N 2 2 GEN P N
seculum, seculi N (2nd) N [EEXCM] Later
world/universe; secular/temporal/earthly/worldly affairs/cares/temptation;

 If you say so...

So what have you, posting on Icke, got against "Conspiracy Theorists" then? Not that I am one, or anything...

Peronsally? Nothing. Intellectually? Their research often sucks and they're very stubborn about making necessary corrections.

Point being: It's very easy to prove that Novus Ordo Seclorum does not mean "New World Order", and the arguement that I've made in how this error came about is perfectly rational....After all, "seclorum and "seculorum" are nearly identical in spelling, so it's a relatively easy mistake to make. The problem is that, even once this mistake is pointed out, conspiracy theorists will continue to repeat their inaccurate claim due to what appears to be nothing more than stubborn self-righteousness. And they do this while simultaneously accusing everyone else of being ignorant "sheeple" who believe everything they read.

In fact, nearly everyone who looks at this thread will continue to believe and state that the motto means "New World Order", even though the claim has been proven wrong. What does that say about the quality of their intellect?

You've proven nothing. Your claim that Seclorum/Seculorum are different words with different meanings is inaccurate. You claim "Seclorum" means "Of the Ages", and that may be so in some altered sources today, but that is not what it meant in Old Latin. It meant "world".

Now, as to the quality of intellects, if that was intended as a mild put-down, you've got to be joking. After all, if that's how you feel, why waste your time making false claims on a CT website?

I have never used wikipdia, nothing against it, just havent.

The new order of the ages is for the world, not just a district or city or country.
In the temptation story Satan is the one world power, that beast is the dc beast lest one tries to get me to not see and know what I see and know.
Im trying to say its very easy to see and understand whats going on, they put it right in front our faces, we just needs care to see.

Not sure what else to say about the Star of Bethlehem, according to the Masonic Bible (I have several copies) other than it clearly says the emblem for the OES, the upside down 5 pointed star, is the star of Bethlehem and that it is the image of the King.

An interesting thing is, when looking at the map of Washington DC, one see's the upside down 5 pointed star as you face North.
North is Kingly hence the upside down 5 pointed star (east is Priestly hence the 6 pointed star, on the head of the dc beast as you face east), that points to the White House.
Heres another point you might find interesting.
Many images of the upside down 5 pointed star shows the goats head (Baphomet) inside the star with a candle with flame on its head.
If you look at the DC map and understand a candle on the upside down 5 pointed star, the flame is where the head Masonic lodge for the whole world is.

I submitt that "great work" is world domination.
I saw 5 or more years ago a news story on tv (probably CNN) talking of plans to put a capstone on the actual pyramid in Egypt, a 66 hundred (or thousnd ?) ton rock.
66 in the bible is Idol worship and 66 is the Mother road of America, get your kicks, in the land of idol worship.

Freemasonry says that great work is to better and enlighten man !!
Keeping in mind the news story about the capstone, representing the work being done, which seems more applicable, man being enlightened or man being conquered ??

Darkness is upon the face of the deep and the deep dosent seem to care.

Excellent post, thank you.

I didn't know about the DC stuff, the arrangements of the White House and the Masonic Lodge there, brilliant. I recall Icke saying something similar, in (I think it was) The Biggest Secret.

It makes so much sense too, considering Washington is technically an independent City-State within the confines of America, just like the City of London in Britain and the Vatican in Italy.

Again, appreciate the detailed and informative reply.
