I would suspect that you can film any individual be it a cop or civilian in a public place.

there is no law stopping you filming or taking photos in any public place, the law is there to stop you filming, or pointing a camera with intent into someones propaty...... but in the course of filming you do get things in the background, but this is not intent.... pointing a camera into someones living room is ( which the undercover camper did at dondaz's house ) .
Just the other day two police officers came round to my house because dondaz and I was in Worcester and came across an area that had loads of cctv cameras, and dondaz filmed them... the copper said that there had been a complaint but did not know how or what, just the fact that someone in my car was filming cctv cameras.. dondaz was at mine at the time and filmed them. I bet they wished that they did not get this shout, dondaz gave them the facts about what they are doing and how they are been used by the state against thier own people ... and I also said thier time would be better spent following up my complaint of treason and fruad.... all they did was say that we had done are research and made an sharpe exit...

so it is not against the law to film the police or anything in a public area .. but they would like you to think that it is.. and will try any bullshit to stop you ... remember your rights..The British Bill of Rights.

Man, I was just watching a lot of this guys movies yesterday and they are awesome! I especially love how in a few where he begins filming the cops, as they notice and begin to approach him he starts humming, hahahaha. If only everyone had this guys view on life.
