I miss it like F**ck, I have only worked out where the asterisk key is since posting on here.

Light years ahead too on many things, miles behind in civility perhaps. But bieing fearless anyway, I loved the full on throttle twisting rawness of the place ..it was like bathing in the primordial flame for me, it was a great adrenaline hit

I cut my teeth in Hariss Forum, and I'd bet a dime to a dollar, that most of the "Guests" we had back then viewing our threads there are heavy posters in here now.

It took a fair bit of class and Guts to "Cut it" in that forum...My favourite Forum of all the forums I'm a member of...That List Includes:

Mindscapes good old Abhies place

Illusions ..Laid Back Cats place

The Unhived Mind 2uffs (Ace info on 2tuffs and leagues ahead of me ) Respect 2tuff (also a member here)

and a couple of others .

But the Forum was a different drummer, an organism. an entity, a friend, an enemy, a laugh, a downer, serious, studious, downright hilarious, oblivious, genius, et al ad infinitum

I claim the first THREAD LOCKED THERE TOO !! as Contasticktion did it for a laugh, and a good one at that, after me Claiming first locked thread in THIS forum.

It was an amazing forum, the information was vast. I just hope it's not all lost. The Forum was allowed to be a microcosm of the world in many respects, that was the attraction, looking in on human nature in it's good, bad and ugly forms, as well as containing a wealth of information from some very smart people.

Its no secret I was not a fan of the 'old' forum, due in part to the way some of the earlier posters on this forum brought their 'attitude' here and felt they could throw their weight round, flex their egos, and generally try and make this forum the same as the other one David had to disassociate from. But also due to what you said about the 'old' forum being a "microcosm" of the world.

I agree with you completely about that, and I mean no personal offence here, but for some of us trying to move on from the greater macrocosm of a world we feel is overwhelmingly in need of positive change, a visit to that forum for a short, sharp, concentrated dose of the macrocosm in "microcosm" form, was a decidely negative experience.

I accept what you say about there being a wealth of information posted on that forum by some very smart people, but having to wade through so much shite to find it was more than I could be bothered with.

A former poster over there told me "yeah, you do need to have balls to post in that forum" so I'm thinking this maybe my problem...well perhaps this is my problem..... I just don't have the balls to have to do combat just to make a post on a forum.

I think its a shame more of the posters from there have not come over here as there was nice good folk there... allthough a good few have come... 2 years ago i loved that old forum.... but the last year or so I enjoyed it less and less and it was no longer and place for the open minded... it was just a same old riducule forum... people went there to change others views... as aposed to converse and relate to others with similer views or desires....

we see lots of arguing going on here which is fine... but you will find there is an out come and an end... people either agree to disagree or learn somthing...

On the whole I dont miss the old forum at all... I allready started missing it about a year ago when it was still running... the last year it was full of Christians calling people Satanic for not seeing the "NWO trying to kill Chrisianity".... and if not those, it was people going around putting people down for supporting Icke as they thought he was a fraud, or Tsarion...take your pick..... it seemed it was a competition as to who was the most smart and who is the least most gullible person there.... thats my views on it anyway, Here people have to descuss their points so you can see if they actualy have one or if they are just there to be a troll.

As for those who are feeling a little like outsiders... it can take time, also on a forum you dont allways know when you are relating to somone as most just read away....

'The Forum' was a hot bed of information, centralised information, from all over the show. It wasn't all just about what you can google, but many different personal perspectives and opinions from very knowledable sources where presented. Many brain storming threads rallied together to define situations with credible data to back up many proposals and assumptions. Trawling through google, to recover a fraction of what was contained on 'The Forum' seems like a wasted effort to me, i'm sure you 'wont' agree. So to protect the wealth of information and to allow access to that information, all CENTRALISED, to me would seem like a sensible idea to enable people to awaken themselves. It's really that simple, honest:p

I agree spending to much time on google franticly hunting for the "truth" is bullshit, allbe it worth doing now and again as there is some cool stuff out there .... but I think the old forum was acualy full of people doing that, very much learning from google... and most of the info and subjects brought up where very often based on websites and stuff and if they were real info or fake so on... I personly would not learn much from people on a forum unless you become more aquatented with them as you dont know who they are or what their agenda is.....

Intent - good guy and ardent truth seeker, also made friends with him to an extent and often had interesting PM chats with him
Baron von Lotsov - great debator, really makes me want to examine my own worldview and also adds life to the place.
master of maya - This dude was simply fucking awesome. Has had a metric shitload of supernatural experiences throughout his life and it's always a great thing to have him discuss his experiences on The Forum. I also made friends with him. Conspiracy communities really need more people like him.
psionicpigeon - even though I can't say I share his views on the occult, especially since he's into shit like Crowley and such, he still adds life to the place and fuels fire to debates.
Solve Et Coagula - same as psionicpigeon, except not quite the Crowleyan that he is.

I think what might have happend is that a few of the mods here used to chat there.... so the trolls over there got worried that there IDs would become more transparant if info was swapped through this place and there party would be over.... so it kind of messed things up for them so they may have started the spam attacks...so on... I did not feel i was in fear of being confronted at all and sertainly not challanged. and I did not feel as though I was brought down by people there one little bit, Its just the endless attempts to do so end up not being worth while.... you end up thinking.... My God, Iro's Tsarion page 'semi-bald but still brilliant' killed me, MoralMan's absurdly graphic homophobia, my god, I won't even go there for fear of opening up old comedy wounds where my sides split once.. That time someone mistyped 'Reptiles where is the poof!' as a thread title... to be spammed with a picture of John Inman, man that was mortal!..

Then there were people like the Baron who was just ace, he would go around his pagan home town scaring nwo servants.. I loved his adventures..in supermnarkets, banks, whereever, he would go out there and put 'the fear' into 'them'..

Edit was supreme... Though there was the theory (Baron's I think)that edit was in fact an online computer simulation of a forum poster programmed to interact on a forum... Until Edit actually started speaking to us....and posted a photo..

What a place... such memories....

That is only a tiny fraction of the stuff that went on over there....

master of maya - This dude was simply fucking awesome. Has had a metric shitload of supernatural experiences throughout his life and it's always a great thing to have him discuss his experiences on The Forum. I also made friends with him. Conspiracy communities really need more people like him.
psionicpigeon - even though I can't say I share his views on the occult, especially since he's into shit like Crowley and such, he still adds life to the place and fuels fire to debates.

The old forum was funny...I remember when I made my first post, I was completely ripped apart, I didn't come back for several days and was extremely pissed off. This happened for like my first 100 posts or so, it was quite addictive but extremely stressful...Then I started to become discerned and I really am thankful for it because now I can spot bullshit at 100 yards...

The old forum will never be back because it used to be linked to from DavidIcke.com's site. Towards the end, there were absolutely no new people joining and only people leaving...Even though it was still quite busy, I felt the end was inevitable.

The best lesson I've learned from the old forum is that anarchy works...You've just got to be an animal to live under it but that's who we are and what we've lost. I would love to see what the world would be like from even under a mild libertarian, people would be strikingly different to how they are now.

...while here I am still basically a 'Ludite',
