Over the past 9 months or so, I have been switching over to a raw diet to try and reverse a life threatening condition I have, which requires that I take steroids in order to survive. I would like to be steroid free if at all possible, and have encountered a few people who have managed to reverse their condition through raw feeding. They say it took them about 2 years to completely come off the steroids.

About a week and a half ago, I started fermenting my own Kefir, using raw unpasteurized milk. Last Sunday evening I started what appeared to be
a reaction to it. By Monday I was really quite ill. My immune system was really under fire. I felt symptoms which I haven't experienced in years, not since I was about 14 years old. It felt like my TB had returned.

I then started to believe what the anti-milk people say. All milk is bad, even raw unpasteurized. It felt I had to stop. I then went back over part II of Jerry Brunetti's video "food as medicine" (available on you tube) and noted what he said about the Herxheimer reaction. I then googled on it and found this website:

Looks like I shouldn't be giving up the raw milk kefir after all! :D
