American Idol Snakefest

I was watching American Idol yesterday, in the Uk, when I noticed dozens of snakes in the outro sequence before all the breaks. So you get a few opportunities to see this same sequence. I cant find an image on the net to verify what I keep seeing, so Ill describe the scene.

A luminous figure facing away from the screen, with arms raised outwards and upwards, with beams of white light spurting out of the head.

Behind the figure is an arc of green that gradually intensifies. The arc is like a sphere surrounding the figure, and it seems to be comprised of about 30 snakes, lined up together like ssssssssssssssss, but in an arc. As the sequence fades out, the last second before the adverts come on, the snakes tongues all appear.

Truly weird.

Ok people, its that time of the week when American Idol is on the Tv. Please check out the outro effects before the adverts. Am I seeing snakes?

What i have just seen is; as American Idol is coming on it looks like they are going through a snake, like a tunnel:confused: did youn see that? And on the outside of the tunnel was snake scales:eek: . if thats what you mean then yes i see it. Or am i seein something different? Just going O/T but Cat Deeley really riles me:mad:

It's the imagery right at the end of the tunnel, when the person emerges and raises their arms to the sky, there are like green entwined snakes behind him. Never noticed that before but it's totally there.

That opening is so old, you would have thought that they would have updated it by now, but it's the same tune, the same graphics...you have to wonder why because after all it's not the greatest graphics that they could possibly have.
