I’ve just got back from the latest UK Probe conference in Lytham St Annes,
Lancashire. It was damn good! There was too much going on to describe everything that happened,
but I can go through the highlights: I
photographed orbs and briefly saw a UFO!
The best speaker at this conference was probably Paola Harris, an Italian
lady who’s been studying UFO’s since 1979. She’s written two books which
contain interviews which all UFOlogist must envy. Nick Pope, Travis Walton,
Phillip Corso, Jesse Marcel Junior, Charles Hall, Paul Helyer. She has a very
professional, business-like approach and she really cares about this subject,
in fact she’s dedicated her life to it. She’s actually gone a lot deeper than
many better-known researchers, but she does it in her own time. She’s got a
day-job as a teacher.
Here are the two pictures I took where orbs appear. In the first one it’s in
the top right just under the light; I took it while “Haunted Homes” presenter
Ross Hemsworth was speaking. In the second it’s near the upper centre, slightly to the left. It’s a bit
dim, but you can just see it:

Other people there captured images of hundreds of them! The second
picture was taken on St Annes beach at 7.15pm on Saturday. I was trying
to photograph the sunset, but the exposure settings on my camera couldn’t
handle it so it came out badly. Then, lo and behold, I saw that I’d captured
an image of another orb! I took my camera back to the hotel, just a dozen
yard away, and showed it to a man called Tony Topping, who’s a contactee
who also did a presentation at the conference. He astounded me by
suggesting we both go back to the beach to do a bit of skywatching. He seemed very confident that
we’d see a UFO; in fact he virtually guaranteed
it! I wondered how he could be so certain and he told me that UFO’s always
appear for him for some reason. We wandered down onto the beach and
stood in the spot where I’d photographed the orb and waited. Sure enough
after a few minutes I saw a tiny light in the sky. At first I thought it was a
satellite, but it then started flitting erratically and then faded. Tony thought
that it might come closer if we waited, but it never did. But never mind, I’ve
seen my first UFO! Tony did a superb presentation the next day where he showed photos of other
UFO’s he’d taken.
