Dear All,

Does anyone know anything about the religion started by Reverend Moon - more than what comes up in the most popular search results (which is very high level)? Is there anyone who has been a part of it or know someone who is part of it or know where to get solid information about it? What are their beliefs? What really goes on in the church? How are women considered? How are people initiated? How are marriage partners chosen or changed? What are the dietary codes? How are children brought up within the church, etc.

What a sham. Or is that shame? He also owns the Washington Post. That should throw up some major red flags right there.

Rev Moon is at present backing away from his claims to be immortal so there won't be a big letdown when he finally kicks it. I think he has retired to the Heavenly Palace in Korea. He still gets around quite a bit though. A friend of mine is in regular correspondence with the president of Unification Theological Seminary here in NY state. He's a nice man. All moonies are nice people. That's why they are going to help the pope unify all the churches.

Thanks for the information. And to think that we are supposed to believe that the congressmen went to an event at Capital Hill without knowing who was going to be there or what was going to take place! Do you think they would like to promote Moon as the leader of a new world religion? I found it extremely weird what Moon said about "saving" Hitler and Stalin.

Hello Multivision,i was involved with the moonies and basicaly they have there legitimate side which is Rev.Moons real solutions to all the worlds problems and I MEAN SOLUTIONS TO EVERY PROBLEM but then there organisation is plagued with liars,decievers,misleaders full of bitterness,resentment and dominated by false pride and inflated egos similiar to christians who follow Jesus who's pride and ego make them look down in a nasty way on people,THESE MOONIES CAUSED A LOT OF DAMAGE TO THERE REPUTATION AND TO MANY PEOPLES LIVES but the moonies are supposed to be a multi-belief organisation WHOS PURPOSE IS TO UNITE ALL BELIEFS and i am more New Age but in the last 5 years people of nearly every belief INCLUDING NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS have started supporting Rev.Moon but before it was mainly christian dominated.
