I vaguely remember the series myself. What I can clearly remember was the Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. This was nothing like the series, but this was a remake that was designed to include political correctness. You only have to look at the old series, read the story books etc. This movie had Morgan Freeman, a black man & a Muslim, then there was the Kings son, who had a boyfriend, thus adding gays into the story.

I dont like film remakes because of this very reason.

yeah i've seen a couple of episodes. i think its on itv4 or some digital channel. i watched the one with herne the hunter in it when he gives robin his quest to steal from the rich etc etc. i think it was the first 2 episodes. in the olden times people used to shag in the woods, thats where the name robinson comes from. theres more of a story behind that... i'm just too lazy.
