Hey everyone,

It would be interesting to see what people do for a living here, and what you might do, with your job, to help with problems we face in the world.

I am a university student studying journalism and politics and work part time at KFC for a little income...yeah I know...lol. So at the moment I am not doing too much, just studying into everything possible, so when I leave, I can put it all to good use.

Caleb.

I work for a company that deals with home insurance claims. We are pushed into doing everything we can to prevent people from actually getting any payouts via sub-clauses and dicky surveyor reports but I am doing what I can to turn that around, in my own way, and am being pretty successful as well, I tell people what to do to get around the shafting they're in line to get. They hate me and I probably won't be there much longer. Quite satisfying.
There's a good example of this in 'The Incredibles' if you want to know what I mean.

My job is to be a divine transcedant being.

But i also moonlight as a psychology student and in the future a counseller - when i get time from my more important job!

Cant think of anything worth knowing than cant be worked out by higher intelligence - look at what some of the religious christians do - build a church in a few days, with no sleep and all hands on deck. All human power, nothing technical.

When were all awake everything will get done very quickly, and there will be no need for any complex planning etc. Most important then is to wake everyone up quick as poss.

Being in journalism & politics, perhaps u could help with this by calling the media and politicians out on what a bunch of liars they are! Sure could use some journalism about something real or good too, or some politics focused on wisdom and not so-common sense.

I wonder will there even be time for that left when ascension is so near. Oh well prolly wont need counsellers either!

Ah, then I I know what you mean then. I guess in any job, you can try help with those around you.

Instinctively, i’ve never felt comfortable in many of the jobs i’ve done nor the education I have received. By choosing to follow my own path, I have faced rejection from colleagues, friends and employers. Only by being true to myself have I been able to move in the right direction and it is this that is more important than the work I do.

the worst jobs is those that expect u too work fast;
that expect you to think a lot... and put a lot of responsability on you.

my favorite job would be to walk next to the local river that runs through our city and the other villages nearby,
and pick up the garbage... :p

That pretty much describes what I do for a living. I'm an architect. Working all day on a farm, feeling every spectrum of the weather through the day is quite satisfying I remember.

i do whatever shit job the agency gives me, or get a full time job and leave after a year... i dont like staying in one place to long, i like to chop and change jobs i do.. office/warehouse i prefer the latter as you dont sit on a chair for 8 hours a day stagnating. But at heart i wanna do what Icke does, as a solo acoustic singer.. im currently recording an album, IM gonna sample part of the russo interview on my myspace on one song and just leave it in public places. I want to feel like i am opening minds.

I work free-lance. Housekeeping/Childminding/Spanish Teacher-Translator. Have ads going and take jobs as they come. I dont pay tax. I earn decent cash. I work flexible hours. Flexible circumstances in that I can bring along my child if need be. I meet people. See their lives. I do my best. Like detailed shit. I get into it and meditate. I get physical and enjoy it actually. Its free. Im in no system. No one owns me. I don't care if I'm legal or not anymore. I feel safe and anonymous. I come across very nice people. Some have said, "You clean others people shit!" "You do what no one wants to!". Ok yes thats sort of true. I just think that I should enjoy whatever it may be that I'm doing. Why should I frown when washing a dish? or Do it half-ass?. I could enjoy it and make it shine! Its up to me. Also the tax-free bit and flexible hours make it well worth it. Its all about how you carry yourself. I do so with pride. There is pride in what I do and so it shows and people respect that. AND! Pay for it AND recommend it! Also I'am asked opinions and taken seriously as Ive gained not only respect but credibility. When asked why in this country I don't elaborate but dont hold back. Ive no one to fear and no need to indoctrinate. I say what is. My truth in a nutshell. Leaves them thinking.
Hope all of you are well. My best always...me

Actually I have Crohns, one reason I donīt post much around here sadly.

I believe however that working to survive is crap! If I ever
go down that road again in this life, the only thing that will
be important is that it is something I Love doing! F money!
Hoping that the world we are facing now in the coming years, will go in that direction.
Or that it simply wonīt be a issue at all! For anybody!

Nail on head there.... I DO find it hard holding down work more than a few months... so now in the rutt of just doing what is asked so I don't commit myself to any one company/person....and yes, living off the tax payer [even though we are still taxed anyway]...which is why I don't charge for work... I also have a problem handling money/cash/finances... a bit sad for a 38 yr old... but hey, thats why I have 'me Julie' to sort me out.

I guess it's hard out there to stick to one job when you're feeling unstimulated and lack passion for your work. The upside is that you break monotony (when you regularly change your line of work), the downside is that employers prefer people who do their job for a good length of time, so a few months here and there isn't a good look.

Even if you claim benefits, there's no harm in charging people for a service well done.

Good luck anyway. :)

Hmmm.... jobs.. I have made the wise decision not to get into any debt, and to live within my means (meaning, no loans!)

I work a small job just to pay the rent, and then I have loads of free time to pursue my interests.

I look at people with loads of debt and their lives are misery. They work for 10 hours a day, get home, watch TV, drink alcohol -- then wake up the next morning and do it all again. And for what? So you can get evicted when the economy is deliberately imploded? So you can live in a slightly-bigger house?

When you make loads of money, you have to spend a large amount of time managing that money and working for it. I would rather have as little money as possible. I will never, ever pay one stinking income tax to the government.

On average i will pick up about 150 fares in a week and i'm still amazed how many people are fast asleep, but also not willing to question anything.
The amount of discussions i've had with people who try and start an argument with me is unreal, i never lose my calm attitude and just hope that some of the information might just get in there heads enough that they'll look it up someday.
I've got posters up about global warming(con) big brother and chemtrails etc and in 4 years i've only had one person question me on them.

I basically work in online marketing I'm a content manager for casino and casino review websites, I do proof reading, web design, writing and editing sales, and marketing copy for the web and a bit of banner design.

I would very much like to find something more creatively fulfilling and something that would be more beneficial to people in general. I always wanted to be an illustrator :(

Me,I'm a jack of alot of trades, but master of none. I don't stay in one place too long. I'm more of a free spirit and that's why employers get pissed with me. Becuz I wont stay and be their slave.
I've done Quality Control , all kinds of maunfacturing jobs, packing, food service, truck driving, telemarketing, etc... I've done alot of different hings. I just think it sucks to be a slave to the man.
