Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it has been already of old time, which was before us.
What do you guys think? Does originality exist? I say no. All we can do is make combinations of everything that there already is. It is impossible to create something new or think of something new. Even as we evolve, it's only discovery, nothing new.
Wouldn't it be nice to step outside of existence for a moment and do something different? :)

im probably the most original person in the UNIVERSE!!
i think once you shed the all the linguistic, cultural, clothing, mores, SEXUAL conditioning, you get a glimpse into that original spiritual essence that resides in all of us
only then do you see true originality
just peel of all those layers of that onion

The field of possibilities is probably already complete. So there are no new things, BUT more and more novelty is being drawn from that pool of possibilities, so the world of form changes all the time and new things happen, and things evolve. Cell phones some decade ago were not as advanced as the cell phones today. The computer game Pong is not as advanced as Half-Life 2.
There is true creation going on all the time. There is not just a simple cause and effect chain happening. If cause = effect then there would be no change at all!
