Things I remember from about the age of 3 or so, before the programming (school) began at 5.
As a child I just could not get my head around the concept of people owning land. Surely God gave the earth to all the creatures. I still remember feeling the huge injustice of it.
I remember being taught the bible, but it was so hypocritical. It only spoke to men (thy should not covet thy neighbour's wife etc) and they were all begatting children with their serving maids etc. So that didn't wash with me.
I was given Janet and John books (showing my age here) and was cross with them because Janet was always stuck at home with Mummy while John went out fishing with Daddy and having other adventures.
Andy Pandy was another one I got mad at. Looby Lou would come out of her cupboard and do all the chores and get back in the cupboard before Andy and Teddy woke up and they thought it was magic. Grrrr!
I suppose the conditioning was still in its early days then and it has got a lot more subtle over the years. Also, they start younger now, making kids go to nursery from the age of 3.
Anyone else have memories like this from their childhood or was I just a strange child?!

one of my earliest memories is of me date rapping a neighborhood girl (i'm 90% sure her name was Gretta) behind the garages/apts behind our house.... we were like 5 or 6 i think... there was no penetration or anything... but i must've seen my parents having sex cuz i was going for it... doggystyle!
I remember walking to my house from her apt feeling humiliated as her mom watched us push one of her dolls in a stroller or something... i think i may have used that to bribe her into getting naked and stuff... because she definately wasn't as into it as i was (kept trying to make excuses to leave).
amazing how manipulative and twisted i was at such a young age :(

good post...
yeah I STILL think owning land is weird! :)
infact I sometimes get in this state of mind where I feel its actually very strange to own anything.... we did not create it.... it has always been here in some form ... who were we to take it to claim?, why cant other share it?
what if the creator of earth came in town and told you your speakers where his because they are made of matter that he/she created?
the bottom line its all down to trust.... once the trust was removed from humanity, when ever that was, it all went pear shaped.

I cannot really remember anything from school, apart from the fact that I never felt settled/fitted in and constantly day dreamed out of the window, and any change to stay of sick to be with the animals I had at home and with nature. Because of that on virtually all of my school reports I was classed as not concentrating, and I think its probably done me more good not being that brainwashed etc ha ha.
With regards to you saying about charging land etc, I have always though that about the air and still to this day cannot understand how people say it is their air space and they actually charge you for flying in the air. Its a strange greedy world.
Anyone else have memories like this from their childhood or was I just a strange child?!
you're not strange. you're not alone. :)

I remember from a young age I was convinced I was immortal.
I used to think if I jumped in to the road that somehow it wouldn't affect me.
I've tried to keep this positive mindstate to a degree as I'm convinced it will protect me, although I wont be jumping in front of busses anytime soon.

When I was about seven or eight I went through a period of not eating. At one point, my mum tells me they were considering force feeding me on a drip. I don't remember much from that period but I do remember this recurring dream I had: I was at this party at this big old house and there were a group of around twenty people all sat around a dining table, big chandeliers and everything. The thing that sticks out is that they were all dressed like eighteenth century style with powdered wigs and stuff. I remember being thrown around a lot and at one point being on the table with everyone pointing and poking. From what I can remember of there faces they were kind of skeletal and very dark. Then they got bored of me and chucked me down some chute at the end of the table.
Bizareness...maybe I was licking lead paint or something that day. It's the only dream I have remembered, probably because it was so terrifying. Scratch that, I also remember a dream where my mum had no eyes. Strange? Me? Meh...

I think I must of died the second I was born into this world and I have spent every day looking forward to the day I die, so that I may live again.
On a positive note, I wish I could remember my child hood, probably the happier times of my life, but strangely I can barely remember anything, just fragments. Unlike my adult life which is hell on Earth. :( I wish I could wipe my memory clean and start over. Now where did I put those jumper cables and car battery. :D Oh well at least I still have a sense of humour, about the only thing keeping me sane in a hell forsaken world. :D
No matter how bad things get, there's always some other poor sod whose got it worse. That's something to be happy about. :D

Don't know where you lot keep getting it into your heads that school's primary purpose is to brainwash. It isn't. Teachers try their best in what is a seriously compromised and undermined profession and system.
Back to the topic..
When I was a child in the 70's I remember there being great optimism. I remember people thinking that Great Britain was the greatest place in the world. I remember factories, I remember work being plentiful, I remember houses that people could afford. I remember lots of green spaces to play in, more people at ease, virtually no gangster posturing, and BLUE skies even when it was cold mid winter.

teachers teach what they are told to teach using the programmes and books given to them.
university lecturers same as teachers.
the longer a human being stays within the education system the more indoctrinated and conditioned they become to the corrupt system that enslaves their minds.
there is a reason why university graduates are given degrees.
the modern system of academic degrees evolved in the medieval university, spreading everywhere across the globe as the institution did:
no other european institution has spread over the entire world in the way in which the traditional form of the european university has done.
the degrees awarded by european universities – the bachelor's degree, the licentiate, the master degree, and the doctorate – have been adopted in the most diverse societies throughout the world.
the doctorate (latin: doceo, I teach) appeared in medieval europe as a license to teach (latin: licentia docendi) at a medieval university.
its roots can be traced to the early church when the term "doctor" referred to the apostles, church fathers and other christian authorities who taught and interpreted the bible.
The right to grant a licentia docendi was originally reserved to the church which required the applicant to pass a test, to take oath of allegiance and pay a fee.
the third Council of the lateran of 1179 guaranteed the access – now largely free of charge – of all able applicants, who were, however, still tested for aptitude by the ecclesiastic scholastic.
this right remained a bone of contention between the church authorities and the slowly emancipating universities, but was granted by the pope to the University of Paris in 1213 where it became a universal license to teach (licentia ubique docendi).
however, while the licentia continued to hold a higher prestige than the bachelor's degree (baccalaureus), it was ultimately reduced to an intermediate step to the magister and doctorate, both of which now became the exclusive qualification for teaching.
at the university, doctoral training was a form of apprenticeship to a guild.
the traditional term of study before new teachers were admitted to the guild of "master of arts", seven years, was the same as the term of apprenticeship for other occupations.
originally the terms "master" and "doctor" were synonymous, but over time the doctorate came to be regarded as a higher qualification than the master degree.

When you're looking at the world through the eyes of a child, the world seems so magical, but unfortunately when you grow up, you get to see just how ugly it can be. I also had a lot of optimism as a child, especially about the future. One of my fav books was the Usborne book of the future. Unfortunately that future of a green, eco friendly paradise has yet to materialise and doesn't look like it's going to any time soon. I live in hope!
I personally think all this computer technology is making people cranky and anti social. I thought all this tech was supposed to make our lives easier, yet the majority of people are working longer, harder and have less to show for it. God knows what the future will bring. We'll probably all look & act like the borg. lol
