How does this affect P2P?
It restricts bad known IP's i.e. government IP's etc.

this is a good app for general use, but never think for a moment it will protect you from RIAA or the movie studio's snooping on your p2p or torrent use
all these people have to do is join a torrent swarm and they can get your ip
just use any modern bitorrent or p2p program and look at the details pane and you can see the location and ip of those in your datastream
until good reliable software is written to dodge this its going to be an increasing problem as some cases have already been prosecuted using this method.

If the CIA wants a look in your computer, they can. I can,t proof that but use your right brain please! There are many ways to look in a computer. Trough added components, secret 'leaks' in windows. Maybe motherboards have a chip where they can login even if it,s not connected to anything.....i can,t proof that.
Look at the net....it,s designed to look at people! It started as a militairy net. The CIA helpt also setting it up....

I'm confused, how can someone with your ip address connect to you machine throught the internet, when you leave your domain it isn't your ip address that everyone else see's on the internet only your service provider ip or whatever router your coming off, this will change when IPv6 comes out though. everyone will have there own ip with 128-bit encryption. btw the NSA wont allow the use of encryption higher than this because it's too hard to break.

There is not really anything i can proof but i can say what i believe; I believe the internet was and is there to look who is awake and who is not.
The internet was created and first used by the militairy. Where the militairy comes in there is the CIA.
Your computer was and is made by people and companys that are controlled by the elite. All the components, the software and so on...
For someone to hack into your computer doesn,t really mean it has to go trough the software. The computerfirms can easily embed something in the hardware that opens the door for the CIA or some other elitist criminals!
ISP,s register your home adress and connecting it to your ip.
I think the only way to really be free on the web is to buy a stolen, or at least, an unregistered laptop with wifi on it and log in on an unprotected hotspot. And while doing that make sure you leave your mobile phone at home and also make sure camera,s don,t see you!
If information comes on the net and they can find out wich hotspot is used for that then they could look if some other hotspot also saw you and crosswatch it and then find out the exact place someone was when he logged on. With mobile phones it works exactly the same....and then off course the camera,s everywhere......it,s still posible but you really need to watch out if you have some serious information!

the internet isnt a good place for people who are paranoid.
at the end of the day, who cares what alternative material you are looking at...as long as you feel the need to look at it then by all means look at it. No one has ever been arrested for looking at davidicke.com or rense.com. No one ever will. These places exist to give the alienated masses breathing space and to control their rage. If they were removed then people would suddenly get active in the real world and governments would really be worried.
The alternative is no threat to the PTB's - it is very much part of it and, by extension of being an 'alternative' it only exists in a symbiotic relationship with the mainstream. both are a dynamic that play off each other - part of the same system even if people dont see it that way - its a fact. Think of the final scene of the third Matrix movie when it becomes clear that the robots created zion and allowed certain humans to be 'free' (in what was really a bigger prison) to perpetuate their slavery in the larger sense.
Thats what the internet is
All you have to worry about surfing the net these days is copyright police if you indulge in such copyleft practices, or viewing illegal sites!

Well said. It's similar to why the crown pushed to have taverns and inns built all across the country many moons ago. They would rather have you slag them over a point than have you at their doors.
