massive power outage in south florida.

apparently, 98% of south florida has been without power for several hours. fox news had cameras at a major intersection in miami, HOPING to catch a deadly collision on camera (since there were no traffic signals).

i don't know what's going on with this power outage, hurricanes don't usually knock out power out down there on this scale. some kind of test to gauge human behavior?

Mostly back on now. A couple of nuclear power stations shut down (a normal and frequent occurence) due to technical issues and this had a knock on affect causing other stations to trip.
