Nah,

He's pissed with the censorship alright but this work for him rather than against him. An incredible and highly significant interview, clearly he was going through a period of great change before his death. Real passion and honesty. Maybe he did know he was dying? He was going deeper and deeper into his commentary. The internet and UK was his market. Did he get the opportunity to tour the UK? Who are the two comedians he mentions? I got to buy or download rant in e-minor and arizona bay. I take it these were the last works before his death.

I have to admit I had never heard of Bill Hicks until David Icke mentioned his story about the "kid on acid". After that I looked him up on the net. Its amazing to me that he was onto the NWO, back in the 80-90's , even before Icke "woke up". He was so passionate about this subject but was taken from us so early in his life, that most people dont know of his comedy or even his existence.

The fact that the Brits took to him and the yanks didnt, shows that his "humour" had the thinking Brits more atune to whats going on than the US people. Generally , US comedians dont do well in the Commonwealth because , we, as in the Brits and ex Brits have a different sense of humour.

But Hicks played the macabre, real life "jokes" about what is happening, and got an audience in the UK. Unfortunately the majority of US people were caught up with their own self importance, saving the world etc....when they did not realise they (ie govt) were the problem, and Hicks was seen as "unpatriotic" etc.

Most of the great artists die young. Only history will judge him. For me, he was great. If I was to have a party where my bosses were to attend, I would just love Bill Hicks to be there. WOW I can almost imagine the looks on their faces.
