Isn't it a meteor up until the point of landing? Then it is referred to as meteorite?
A meteor hurdles through the skies and strikes the ground. A meteorite is found where the meteor strikes.

doesnt anyone think it a bit odd that a meteor/ite hits the earth only hours after the supposed satelite is taken down?:confused:

I do and the satellite supposedly landed not far near Hawaii from where that so called meteor was seen
