Hi, Damned if they do....and Damned if they don't!
My thoughts? I would rather they didn't.....but! if I had a dearly loved family member stuck in a wheel chair who could live a normal life with the benefits of this science....goodness knows what I would vote for in those circumstances!!
Very tough moral decision indeed'

My instincts say its wrong. If it was my embryo, I wouldn't want anyone messing with it.

Thanks for your replies :)
My biggest concern, is that of course the scientists will not stop there, curiosity and money that could be made will get the better of them.
They are using the excuse that it will be used to aid those that are suffering, but is it really only going to be used for this purpose?
The scary thought is now the floodgates are open, that scientists will take it way too far, there was a movie (Charlize Theron) can't remember the name but someone else here might, where they were cloning humans for body parts. Not an impossible future or now that this bill has been passed not even an improbable one.
Who here if they lost their loved one or beloved pet would not consider cloning them to have them part of your lives again? I know within myself that I would find it very hard to say no to cloning if I were losing or lost one of my own children.
This I feel is also a very interesting topic in regards to the Illuminati bloodlines being kept "pure" in their breeding program, would make it a whole lot easier for them to interbreed wouldn't it whilst making it much less visible to the general public.
Could the "ill" be behind this bill being passed do you think?

Cloning pets , lost kids, deceased loved ones would be a no no as far as I'm concerned. But, I perhaps wouldn't mind if they could come up with a supply of 'spare parts' somehow...that would save them having to shoot Chinese petty thieves for a liver or what-have-you, much more moralistic to just fine them a sum of money surely? Dunno really... without the scientific ins and outs of cloning procedures it's fairly difficult to come up with arguments either for or against. I must do some research on this..it's piqued my interest. This subject I suspect will be headline news for many years to come.
