I beleive this may possibly be more appropriate eventually in the mind control forum. However some one i know and is dear to me has been programmed by the landmark ideology, has attending all but a few forums. I need to know, as soon as is possible, what values they force on landmark participants and what techniques they use for programming. Thank you for ur input, sincerely.

I have done quite a few Landmark courses and it's simply made a hugely positive difference in my life.
I always felt the freedom to choose.Basically, you are the one programming yourself to achieve whatever you want in life.Landmark provides the technology for this.It is actually pretty similar to what David Icke has been saying recently.
Obviously, there's a lot of good and bad press about it(just google it and you'll see),but that's kind of how it is with everything else.

Hope this has helped:)

Hey, I've done a few things at Landmark too and the thing that I remember the most, was like...
"get off it with your mom, she did the best she could" kind of stuff.
They are big on compassion and mending family and friends.
After "The Forum", I felt so much peace. Yes it fades and that is why they have the seminars from time to time.
One other thing I remember is that YOU MUST ALWAYS KEEP YOUR WORD!
Yes this is good, but, sometimes not possible and I sort of think everything happens for a reason (for me). So if someone couldn't make a date...
no worries.
However, I don't think you have much to fear, it is overall very positive.
I did not like the way they encouraged you to get ALL your friends involved.
It is a bit high pressure.
Good luck to you, and at the very least, you have friends really trying to become the best they can be. :)

Well actually i never talk to them any more, since landmark basically. I fear this actualised self-god concept is little scary. It seems very ego-self oriented. Be the best you can be? how about be the most loving, accepting and kind you can be?

Is it that u beleive life is like a lucid dream where we get to choose everything?

Ive heard of the some of the techniques they use, like extra long seminars with little food or breaks, and read transripts, and i find the verbal process sounds abusive and derisive at times - its like "why arent u smarter"...sorta??

Have u heard of est?

could u explain that to us, if u know what it is?

I have also heard people feel a drug-like high? Is that true?

Did u also know that landmark is related to scientology? (Which is based on many forms of cult-like mind control)

You mention "be the best you can be",followed by "be the most loving, accepting and kind you can be",which tells me this is what "the best" would be for you.So what Landmark is about is that,if that is what works in your life, then go for it.
But what I really like about it is that my life is not just about me,but also about my friends and family, and about people in the world, especially now - given that the world is shaken by wars, hate and cruelty.

Landmark has very strict policies about the conduct of staff and leaders and I certainly never saw anything improper going on.It is true that Werner Erhard, who started est, attended Scientology seminars in the 60s,but he left shortly after because he didn't like the cult-like aspect of it.Scientology has actually attempted character assassinations on him ever since.
Anyway, there's lots of info on the net if you are interested!

"how about be the most loving, accepting and kind you can be?"

I don't think you can go far wrong with this sort of attitude drael. Always keep faith with yourself. Experts are rarely experts in my experience. Thats not to say don't expand your horizons when it seems right to do so.
