View Full Version : If you haven't got any problems you soon will have

It is apparent to me that when, (for a brief period of time) one does not have any major problems that sooner, (rather than later) something comes along unexpectedly and kicks you in the teeth.
I think this is the Matrix's way of punishing people who are not unhappy enough already.
I have noticed for the last 10 years of my life that if you make a concious effort to improve yourself, not only are you guaranteed to fail, but you will be severly punished with interest on top for even having the nerve for trying.
It seems to me the biggest winners in life are those who realise that trying to improve yourself is a fools game, and you should just accept the cards you are dealt with, no matter how crap they are.

I agree with you on the point that if you don't have any significant problems something will come along that's really hard to deal with. Also, Ive noticed that things never happen all at once, it's like a long line of problems that come along one or two after another, it's as though Im never given more than I can bear at one time.

Some of my greatest failures have been my greatest life lessons and periods of growth, never give up trying to improve yourself and remember whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.

That is how I see it as well. When I do have/get problems, they are likely to come in groups, but I always know that problems are meant to be overcome.
Instead of dreading the next problem that might come along, then just look forward to the days where you dont have as many problems as you currently have.

It depends on how you are consciously trying to improve yourself. Notice the keyword is the 'self'. The self is basicaly the ego and the ego more often than not stands in the way of universal consciousness. These perceived bad things are the universal consciousness trying to move the ego aside or trying to get you to redirect your focus of change.

I know exactly where you're coming from, I've questioned this many times, but I have peace with it now; I see it differently today. These 'kicks in the teeth' are really blessings in disguise, if you don't give in, you can gain so much strength to prepare you for whatever the future holds. Those that get an easy ride, won't be as well equipped.

Bruce Lipton has described how our subconscious mind is much more powerful than our conscious mind. That seems pretty accurate. While the conscious mind tries to say "yes, yes, yes" the subconscious mind says "no, no, no" :D

Three important pillars are: health, money and social relationships.
When it comes to health, I want to be young and healthy even when I grow old, and I want to become more beautiful, not uglier! So if I have the subconscious belief system that I will grow old, sick and ugly, I cannot go very far and I will certainly experience an endless struggle with problems.
I need money in abundance and I need to know that in the future I will also have money (or equivalent stuff) in abundance.
I need loving social relationships, and not relationships based on fear and hatred.
My subconscious mind tells me that: 1) I will grow old, sick and ugly, (2) that my financial future is very uncertain, and 3) that I need to be afraid of everybody. Not a good combination!:D

Are you familiar with the term too blunt to have a point, if anyone is going to be free then your mentality seemingly could never be involved. Your in no better position than any other poster on this forum. People jump from box to box because they are on a learning curve, if you've reached the top of that curve then well done. I'll relate to you when I get there.
Virtue in adversity - Never let the bastards grind you down... a couple good old family motto's that still ring true today! When the going gets tough...
P.S. if yr really experiencing friction from the Matrix due to honest to goodness self improvements it means you are getting somewhere! Celebrate. Nothing pisses off the PTB more than us laughing in the face of danger. Get beyond hope and fear. Find spiritual opulence, unreliant on material outcomes or conditions.
