I have a friend who had the implant, but I think she had it even longer than 3 years.

So I guess this is at least 3 year old news :p

By the way, I think all of these have a chance of making the person it is done to sterile... if it is called that for women as well.

She didnt know that before her 3 years had gone, if it wasnt even longer.

Had a friend who got one of these things like 8 or 9 years ago when they were launched as the solution to girls forgetting to take their pills, etc - and she had the thing in her arm only 3 months and it totally wrecked her body, she gained heaps of weight and her skin changed and she generally just looked very wrong and totally unnatural - she had the thing taken out at that point but years later she was still all messed up from it. I've seen sooooo much damage done from these Norplant - they are pushed in Africa by "charity" orgs even though they are known to open people up to much higher risk of contracting the Aids virus (something it does to make you more susceptible) - there are numerous things wrong with birth control pills/implants - how they drastically change the chemistry, moods and even the normal phermone instincts of the women who use them - causing them to choose different mates than they would naturally (as their bodies are in a "nesting" pseudo pregnant state rather than a seeking fertile state) Pretty huge stuff that very few think about and nearly all fertile women are on this stuff - There are alternatives but they are supressed heavily mostly and the best ones not even taught about or made available. There is heaps to say about this in our societies.

I agree this kind of thing probably does make you more susceptible to aids. Its an implant that is quite unnaturally put inside your body. My friend had in her arm as well. To think they didnt even tell her that it could cause her to become sterile!! bastards.

Since its an implant, it does need a hole to be made in the body, and the immune system will have to repair it. Doesnt seem to me that the problem in africa is too many children, the problem is diseases like aids. They seem to need many children to make up for the short lifespan there.

Population control .

I bet you they specifically target non-whites, like Planned Parenthood do.
