The Ritual of Freemasonry is based on the Old Testament which makes up a part of the Bible and of course let's not forget that Jesus himself was a Jew.

I must ask if we remove the Jewish influence on Christianity would it still exist?

As to the MI6 building looking Masonic why not compare it to an actual Masonic building a few miles away from it.

BTW I never said I was Jewish but my Bible has the OT in it.

That's an interesting concept that you put across about modern Christians, I hadn't heard that they had chucked out the story of Creation or Noah or any of the other things that come from the OT????

Hey unfair that was my question.

Just assume for a minute that Jesus wasn't born a Jew in the first place. Would he have caused a schism amongst the Jews against the Pharisees at the time. To me it sems unlikely that much of His story would have happened if he hadn't have been a Jew.

So would he have not fulfilled prophecy as a Messiah and instead have lived into ripe old age (rather than being cruified at 33) and would Christianity never have happened.

You see for me that's called a conundrum.

Take some time out and do some historical exegesis not xian exegesis but independant non-agenda based HISTORICAL exegesis/methodology and this will liberate you from the false reality you've become enmeshed in. His new commandment to 'love each other' his disdain of the strictness of OT law 'the sabbath was made for man' not the other way round.....

That the masons follow the OT more shows which side they're buttered.

We do not follow the Old Testament, our Ritual is focused on events that may or may not have happened during the building of King Solomon's Temple. This basis though is "legendary", Hiram Abiff is not mentioned in the Bible neither is there any mention of the murder of the principle Architect of the Temple.

It's all allegorical, it's not meant to be real.

When I was born my parents who are not involved in Freeemasonry had no idea that I would join 28 years later so that's really pretty stupid. Of course when I tried to explain that to Joe he just deleted my posts.

I suppose Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Marylin Manson and Mike Myers could all be Master Masons but to be honest, I don't think so.
