I had the urge to write this poem today, I have not written anything since I was little so please let me know what you think.
Between
If by chance, I should stray
From the golden middleway
Will I choose to spend my folly
With the dreary or the jolly
If I leave the sacred track
Can I find my own way back
Is it equally hard to find the path
When it is hidden by joy or hidden by wrath
--F
There might be spelling errors and stuff but am I making my question clear, or is it silly?

Nice Poem Pollock....The High Path is the Only path...If you are on it...you are on it.
The Path "Presents obtsacles" In many guises..consider them "Tests"
It is the nature of the "Path" to present these tests to you. Navigating the obstacles...is recognition of them...learn from the "apparent obstacle" in your way.
It is not in your way to impede your progress, but there so you can learn the lesson that is that it imparts.
Discernment is Key, Intuition, and evaluation of foresight and consequence.
Then based on these things..the action you will make...will decide the progress and the outcome.
These have been, and still are my experiences, anyway.
In my humble experience anyway.

G'day Pollock,
Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem.
If I may be so bold. . .if you reverse the last two lines you will create a greater impact on your question. As in. . .
Is it hidden by joy or hidden by wrath ?
Is it equally hard to find the path ?
And yes your question is perfectly clear. Please continue to write, for I have enjoyed your expression through poem.
With LOVE.
