Sorry guys, I was at the dist. 6 caucus(baton rouge) WE HAD IT, we had every delegate slate filled (15) in every district, no other cnadidate did! We had it in the bag! We out numbered other supporters 2:1 GUESS WHAT? THIS IS SICKENING!!!!! Since Rudy, Huckabee, and Fred didn't had all of their delegates filled, they created a ballot called "Pro-Life, Pro-Family" And included all of the delegates for Rudy, Huckabee and Fred ON ONE BALLOT, anyone that came in and asked for where to vote for huckabee lets say, The people at the door gave them the Pro-life/Pro-family ballot and said vote for all of these delegates( you get 15 votes, with 15 delegates on a candidate or guess you can say GROUP ballot) WE HAD THIS, WELL NOW IT LOOKS LIKE THE "PRO-LIFE" BALLOT BEAT US, I AM PISSED!
This is like Paul vs the rest! This was done at the last minute leading up to the caucus. They outsmarted us! We kept this on the down-low the whole time The app. to fill out delegates was Jan. 12 we had ALL delegates slates filled, Lousiana's caucus process is quite confusing. But we learned it and no other candidates did! They screwed us at the last minuted when they saw we was going to take this by how many delegate slates we had. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS UNFAIR PROCESS OF PAUL VS 3 CANDIDATES.

Nearly 10,000 Louisiana Republicans voted for delegates and alternate delegates to the 2008 Louisiana Republican Convention at caucuses throughout the state on Tuesday.
The Congressional District 4 caucus — which encompasses Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne, Bienville, DeSoto and Red River parishes — was held at the CenturyTel Center in Bossier City.
The 15 delegates who will represent District 4 are: Flo Alexander,Royal Alexander, Rick Edmonds, John Kay Jr., Bill Kostelka, Sandy McDade, Trent P. Newell, Barrow Peacock, Daniel Robinson, Alan Seabaugh, Evodna Springer, Deanna M. Wallace, Matthew L. Wallace, Ron Webb and Bryan Wooley, according to unofficial results released today by the Republican Party of Louisiana.
All 14 candidates on Tuesday’s ballot will serve as alternates. They are: Margaret P. Coates, Brad Craft, Lisa Debetaz, Buddy L. Edwards, Bruce Garrett, Bruce James, Sarah L. Logan, Paula Pinkston, Gary Pomraning, Bruce Wray, Steve Riall, Rick Taylor, Ronnie Touey, Harvey D. Werner.
Results were tallied on site late into the night and then reported to Republican Party Headquarters in Baton Rouge. Of the thousands of ballots cast, approximately 650 were cast provisionally, according to the state party.
Before provisional ballots are counted, the organization's staff must verify that those voters were registered Republican voters in his or her congressional district as of Nov. 30, 2007.
Prior to the tabulation of the provisional ballots, the uncommitted "Pro-Life/Pro-Family" slate appeared to win a majority of delegates in all seven congressional districts, the state Republican party said.
All candidates who ran for alternate delegate in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th congressional districts won after qualifying as there were 15 or fewer candidates for those positions.

Ron Paul gets Roe nod

The doctor is in: Ron Paul used his medical background to argue against abortion Tuesday.
WASHINGTON -- Ronald Reagan and other Republican presidents have addressed the thousands of abortion opponents who annually march from the National Mall to the Supreme Court in remembrance of the court's Roe v. Wade decision. The event has not always been a draw to GOP presidential hopefuls, but Tuesday's pre-march rally on the 35th anniversary of the landmark ruling had one notable exception: Ron Paul. Among people holding up more typical "Defend life" and "Stop abortion" signs, some held banners in support of the Texas congressman, a libertarian with an anti-war bent. Paul was among about a half-dozen lawmakers who spoke at the two-hour rally, and he cited his credentials as an obstetrician who has delivered 4,000 babies.
"The debate over when life begins should not be a debate. Let me assure you: All life begins at conception," he said. Paul also scored a right-to-life coup of sorts by claiming the endorsement of the Roe in Roe v. Wade -- Norma McCorvey, who won the case for abortion rights but has since changed her stand. She runs the Crossing Over Ministry, formerly called Roe No More. "He has never wavered on the issue of being pro-life and has a voting record to prove it," McCorvey said in a press release from the Paul campaign. "He understands the importance of civil liberties for all, including the unborn. "After taking all of the presidential candidates into consideration, it is obvious that Ron Paul is the only one that doesn't just talk the talk," McCorvey said. President Bush, meanwhile, hosted 200 of the demonstrators in the White House's East Room for coffee and doughnuts. In remarks later broadcast to other demonstrators, Bush said each unborn child is a separate individual with his or her own genetic code. "And the fingers and toes and beating hearts that we can see on an unborn child's ultrasound come with something that we cannot see: a soul."

Positive for Ron Paul in Louisiana Caucus Results
http://prisonplanet.com/articles/january2008/230108Louisiana.htm
Product Reviews Wednesday January 23, 2008
The Louisiana caucus results are not in yet (will be in a few hours), but things are looking very positive for Ron Paul. We have heard a rumor that in Natchitoches Ron Paul won 11 of the 15 Delegates and that there were less than 100 people at some sites, some Ron Paul supporters are saying “Dr. Paul must be doing well, since I haven’t seen anything about it on the so called news channels”. What do you make of the Louisiana caucus and the lack of news in the main stream media? Keep an eye on the GOP website, news of the results will be posted there.

IF the LAGOP paid for these 'pro-family' flyers, they may have just crossed the line. The official Republican parties are NOT allowed to do ANYTHING that may appear to promote one candidate over another in a CONTESTED PRIMARY race. This is in the by-laws of the National GOP as well as all the state GOPs. To blatantly leave all the Ron Paul delegates off a hand-out is a violation of these rules.

If any election laws were broken, we're going to have to start filing lawsuits. This is getting ridiculous. I thought we lived in America, the beacon of democracy, and not some third world Latin American banana republic. Christ, even Hugo Chavez's Venezuela is starting to look like it holds elections with greater integrity than what I am seeing in this primaries/caucuses.
Update:
I went up there (to the LAGOP office) and saw Matt Chancey sitting there (RP person). We chatted for a minute. I got to talk to Matt some guy in Leadership there.
He was basically very vague and said he had “no knowledge” of the LAGOP paying for this. Which is the direct opposite of what GatorWorks told me. Then alluded to some people that were very respected former members of the LAGOP paying for this. And he wouldn’t tell me who paid for it. He also tried to tell me that these were “un-committed” voters which is a lie b/c I questioned him about if I go look at the donor lists what would I see. He basically froze.
I’ve got a another call into GatoWorks and am going to put them on the spot.
I also told guy he could just be upfront with me and we could get this over or I would go digging but I got nothing but time and money to spend finding corruption.
I was not mean and I was not loud but he could obviously sense my frustration. Also when I first got their somebody was calling in about the same thing and he seemed really pissed.

Good for you Cruise!!!
It is quite evident that the GOP doesn't respect Ron Paul.
Many are very afraid of his message.
Fight the good fight!
