Paul is caught up in the belief that consumerism is the natural state of society, that our only role is to produce things others can consume so that we can consume things that others produce
And what should be your reward for convincing others to produce on your behalf ??? lots of money to buy useless shit you don't need and invest so you don't have to serve society or be self sufficient to get money at all and can be a parasite
he wants to
"decommission Social Security and Medicare "
Which, I mean to be fair it's not good for people to be dependent on the government - thats what got us into this mess - but we shouldn't let sick people who can't afford it or those who are between jobs suffer either! thats inhuman
"As a first step he advocates the elimination of all taxes on capital — estates, capital gains, interest income, and dividends."
In other word... more Bush tax cuts for the rich!!! WHOOOOPEEEE!!!!
YES taxes should be cut, but from the bottom up
FUCK elimination of taxes on capital, those are taxes on exploitation of others
tax cuts should either begin by raising the threshold of income before you qualify to pay tax, OR in the form of subsidies on the bear necessities of life such as brown bread, fruit & veg, breakfast cereals, etc.

Not exactly accurate that, is it?
So according to you Ron Paul supports:
Letting sick people who can't afford it or those who are between jobs suffer inhumanely?
Advocates the elimination of all taxes on capital — estates, capital gains, interest income, and dividends for the rich only?
And none of his other policies affect these 'isolated' part-truths?
"Tax cuts should either begin by raising the threshold of income before you qualify to pay tax, OR in the form of subsidies on the bear necessities of life such as brown bread, fruit & veg, breakfast cereals, etc."
"Paul is caught up in the belief that consumerism is the natural state of society"
Hmmm... I'm afraid so are you!
If I didn't know better I'd have you down as an agent of mis-info. You don't believe your own posts do you?

No, according to me some of his policies are not in support of providing a state safety net for such people, that is perfectly obvious and he'd say so himself
Advocates the elimination of all taxes on capital — estates, capital gains, interest income, and dividends for the rich only?no, again you're twisting my words, I didn't say these were for the rich only but lets think about it here...
Who has more capital estates (if any?) --- rich or poor?
Who has more capital (if any?) --- rich or poor?
Who has more interest income (if any?) --- rich or poor?
Who has more divedends (if any?) --- rich or poor?
see any pattern emerging here? use your brain and 2+2
If you agree 100% with anyone's politics you're not thinking for yourself

I'm coming around to ron paul but a politician is still a politician. If he's the real deal he'll know what he has to say in order to convince me to 'vote'. FYI. You give up your right to elect an official for the privelage to vote for one once you sign your voter registration form. So technically your 'vote' doesn't count as much as you think it. You never had to 'register' to vote in the first place. It is a right and you only needed to have a record of your election choice. Another web in the illuminati web is how they use words against us because we are ignorant of thier meanings. Find out the difference the recording and registering. You'll see.

McCain embodies the Bush Administration, he says america will stay in iraq for 100 years if necessary and he comes across as a largely souless and self-seeking sort.

Award Winning Documentary Shows Allegations Of McCain's Efforts To Block POW Investigations, Reports KST Communications
For Immediate Release
OROVILLE, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Jan. 18, 2008 --- The award-winning documentary film, "Missing, Presumed Dead: The Search For America's POWs" narrated by Ed Asner backs up allegations that John McCain repeatedly thwarted attempts by U.S. Senate investigators to examine the abandonment of American POWs in Southeast Asia and North Korea.
"Missing Presumed Dead," which won two film festival "Best Documentary" awards, explores McCain's successful attempt to pass a stealth bill in the Senate which effectively keeps his POW records sealed in perpituity and provides insight into why he does not want these records ever to be made public - including the revelation of the many propaganda radio broadcasts he delivered for the North Vietnamese. The film also explains why McCain's refusal of early release from a North Vietnamese POW camp had a less than honorable motive.
The charges against McCain are revealed in the documentary by such political luminaries as former New Hampshire Senator Bob Smith; Jesse Helms' chief of staff, Dr. James Lusier; former Congressman Bob Dornan; U.S. Senate lead investigator, Tracy Usery; and author, Dr. Joseph Douglass, Jr. ("Betrayed").
This documentary goes in depth to answer some of these persistant questions:
Why were these POWs abandoned?
Are some of these POWs still alive in North Korea and Vietnam?
Is John McCain really the president we want guiding our future generations?
According to Jerry Kiley, a group leader of Vietnam Vets against McCain, Kiley says, "John McCain has created this myth that he is a hero, and he is not."
Kiley's group cites as evidence a May, 1973, U.S. News & World Report article by McCain in which McCain said he realized, on his third or fourth day of captivity after his plane was shot down in 1967, that his knee was so swollen the blood might pool in it and kill him, so he offered to give military information to his captors in exchange for medical treatment.
Consequently several military missions were compromised.
"Missing, Presumed Dead" was supported by several POW/MIA organizations who cite John McCain as one of the biggest obstacles in resolving the abandonment of America's POW/MIAs. Go to http://www.missingpresumeddead.com to learn more.
