Have you ever have this. When i chat with a person or when i read something from someone else i can feel the emotions the person had while he/she was typing or writing it. A lot of times when I chat with someone i can feel things sometimes even when somebody has pain or sadness. I know I'm an empath but I wonder if there are others with similar stuff happening.

Lately I beginning to sense what a person is like just through the sound of the voice. it's not in the words but a level deeper. i can feel things ( that are not totally clear uptill now) throught the vibration of the voice. As if there is a deeper connection.

and something totally different that isn't something psychic i think but funny. When i read a book I hear an imagined voice of the person reading the words. So sometimes, according to the style of the text, i hear an older male voice, or I hear a female voice. Sometimes my own voice or sometimes the voice of when i have heard the person speak in public like David, his books have that humorous english accent. I also "update" an imagined voice with the real voice of the person as soon as i hear that. Even the accent can be different. I always thought that other people exhibited the same behaviour but that doesn't seem to be the case. People look at me in a strange wa when i say that. But that's probaly me haha

what are your feelings about all this?

I feel the same with humans and paranormal entities (aliens or spirits).

The communication is through our emotions and it's a natural ability of our soul connected with others souls through the spirit.

The souls is connect inside the body and live without time. The spirit stay in the time but don't have a place in the space because the spirit is the whole. The body is connect with soul and spirit through our personal antenna, the chakra/kundalini energies.

I felt also telepathically the semitic names of some spirits flying in my bedroom.

I can relate to what you say. It is especially disturbing when you think, they think they are fooling me here! Sometimes when on the phone I hear the thoughts, the emotions as if they are speaking it. I realised I could always do this, but shut it down in my childhood as it was too painful to realise and deal with so much dishonesty, particularly from family. They made me feel like I was crazy and losing my mind. I have felt it in interviews, when I meet new people and it is a major "too much information" moment sometimes. However you cannot ignore and pretend you do not know something otherwise you really will go mad.

So devious people really hate you for it, because they know you can see through them. They cannot get away with their little games.

It can be disturbing for others, so you have to be discreet, I know what is going on with people around me by just looking at them. Sometimes there is so much depth in a mere glance.

The voice thing I relate to in a way also. Especially when I am typing quickly, I can imagine a voice or an accent and start to type in the pronunciation to express the right character, mocking the accent. Most people dont get it, and so I stopped that. I just amuse myself, that's life I guess. There's a theory, is life, masturbation? Do you see what cheeky stuff just flies off the keyboard. :D

Yes I also feel the same things. Grew up all these years and treated it as something normal to all people and nothing special.

Maybe I'm wrong in saying that its normal for all people.

I'm the very same, in that when typing to people in online conversations (like in messenger programs), I can almost feel the emotion in their words. I can also hear the tone of their voice, and the mix of it all sounds to me like music.

So when certain ideas and thoughts are expressed in a certain way, I hear one piece of music (nothing recognisable - its not a Mozart symphony or anything), and when either the words or subject changes I hear a different piece of music.

Even when talking face to face with someone, I hear the music of our conversation.

Anyone else like this?

I must say its rather interesting at times, but can be overwhelming, as there are certain musical patterns that I recognise in my head, and I long to hear them as much as possible, but I very rarely do, which is sad :(

Hey i have that too, but i can control it.

Are you a musician?

I am a musician. I have the audio version of photographic memory, musical memory. You probably have that too. that you only have a musical piece to hear a fraction of second and you know what song it is (even if you can't remember the name of it exactly)

What about this: i see colours or even images when i hear music. That's pretty normal but for me a certain sound or musical chord has a certain colour and emotion. That's how i compose too, it has to fit.

who else on this thread has some form of synaesthesia? like seeing a colour when you think of a certain day or something like that

I get this all the time, in just the way you describe and yes I am also musical.

Sometimes I also feel emotions, though I can’t control this, sometimes it happens and sometimes not.

For instance, I was taken once to see one of my wife’s relatives, someone I knew nothing about, had never met and never heard anything of.
When we arrived and went into the house, I was overcome with the strongest feeling. I just could not bare to be in the house and just had to get out.

It was a kind of sickening feeling that at the time I just could not understand. So I just left the house and sat in the car for about three hours until my Mrs came out, I must have seemed like a right idiot, but that was how strong the feeling was.

Later on in the day, I found out that there was much very bad feeling flying about with those people and my Mrs.

This all probably sounds quite trivial, but honestly, the house and people in felt as if they were contaminated with something terrible.
Ever since that day, I have always tried to pay much more attention to my feelings and intuitions.
