Already?
Well, In their defense he was threating them with a knife which won't exactly help your case. But this is just one example. What if it happens to someone innocent next time? jeez.
Also, I noticed on the article, the taser has a range of 6.4M!!!!! What if that hits someone innocent instead of the guy they are "trying" to immobilize... Quite scary stuff if you ask me. But cheers steevo for the post mate.
So did he fall on his own knife after being tased?
kweli

POLICE WATCHDOG MAY INVESTIGATE TASER GUN CASE
Monday January 21,2008
THE Independent Police Complaints will decide whether to launch an investigation into the death of a man who was shot with a police stun gun before he is believed to have fatally wounded himself. Armed officers were called to a house in the Goldington area of Bedford after reports of a dispute between a mother and son, Bedfordshire Police said
The man, in his 30s, was found outside the terraced house armed with a knife and suffering injuries.
He threatened police and was shot with a taser gun before returning to the house where he was discovered with "self-inflicted injuries", a force spokeswoman said. He was taken to Bedford Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The incident was referred to police watchdog the Independent Police Complaints Commission. A post-mortem examination is also due to take place today (Monday) establish the cause of death.
The house remained cordoned off and a police officer stood guard while forensic experts searched the premises. The mother is thought to live in the house alone and the son is thought to be aged around 32, neighbours said.
