Religion is a big one IMO, for example, alot of religions indoctrinate their followers into believing that our "saviour" will be returning soon and THAT IS WHEN all wars will end. In the meantime they do absolutely nothing to stop the wars because it is written in the scriptures that war will be here until the "second coming".

Anyway, I tell religious people not to wait for the second coming because it is not gonna happen because...he is already here!!!

I come from a family that believes there will be this marvelous rapture where a select few with intimate links to the Jesus character will be raptured away to the pearly gated community in the sky. Given a mansion. Won't it be grand when everything gets so bad that the invisible super hero, who let everything go to hell on earth in the first place, He swoops in, just in the nick of time, and rescuses all of planet earth. Once the people realise this (critical mass etc) we can finally start to find out the real truth (The lies - Govt/Religion/Taxes/The Banking Fraud/War is a racket/Stolen Natural Resources etc etc etc) and start to change things for the better for the whole of humanity. To me, the biggest secret is that we CHOOSE to be enslaved. It is a choice that we made and continue to go along with. It's on a par with murder as a "sin", I reckon. And YOUR CHOICE of being a SLAVE is the thing that enables the suffering in the world to continue.
IN MY OPINION, in the eyes of god/the universe, WE are EACH responsible for choosing to be enslaved. The slave master is not responsible for our enslavement - WE ARE, because we chose it. Nobody can force you to be a slave. You have to choose it. That is the biggest secret in my opinion.

Me personally, yes, I am enslaved, and I chose it because I am too scared to face the consequences of living as a sovereign. At least I'm not in denial about it (that is the first step). The truth hurts those who cannot accept this, BECAUSE THEY ARE IN DENIAL.
