Hello all. I heard somewhere that HDTV is designed to be particulary helpful in even further hypnotizing us (yes I know normal tv does that already just that this is improved quality of the same). I cant really seem to find out much information on this and so thought maybe one of you can post on the subject. Also heres a link to a McEvil oops I meant McDonals subliminal on Food Network channel. Sneaky bastards. Cheers all

I have noticed how most tv's, have a really annoying high pitched sound emitting from them. Hdtv's to me, seem like they have improved on this. Who knows what that could be, but it seems that it's coming from the transmission and not just from the hardware inside the tv. Sure, there might be noise coming from the hardware itself, but I've noticed that when you turn it on you get other noises as well. Just have your tv, especially if it's hdtv, on a channel that doesn't broadcast anything. Listen to the sounds coming from it; there's hums, very high pitched noise, maybe other noises, etc.

I just went to the link that you posted.
First of all, the person writing the article is incredibally ignorant and maybe just stupid.
Secondly, if you were watching that episode of iron chef, how could you miss that something was there? It is soooooooooooooo bloody obvious!!!! What were Mcdonalds thinking? Shouldn't it be more subtle, so that it affects your subconsious and not you consiousness? And how thick would you have to be to fall for that one, geeez! Don't answer that, I know there are idiots out there whom you can run annything past, and have it affect them.

someone has told me that hdtv can be an excellent monitor device. does anyone have any info about bi-directional screens? screens that can function as cameras too, like i have seen in the "firefly" tv series.

Father Ted I agree the author of that article an ignorant f.... lol and bigus, this is what i found on the bi-directional, notice they will have stations in every area for monitoring, I need say no more. Anyway this is the sort of info Id like to be gathering about this, so if anyone else knows something on the subject would love to hear it. Cheers

I hate HDTV. It's all a big conspiracy. I'm perfectly happy with my CRT.
Besides, anyone else think it's odd that 'they' are trying to digitalize everything? I mean, digital TV, digital radio... it's all nonsense.

Digital has fucked up sound. It would also allow them to put sounds in digital formated items that we wouldn't consciously notice. That's where I think the conspiracy is regarding digital items.
Regarding vision, you can fit more frames in, per second, depending what they were shooting with. This would allow for more affective subliminals. Just look at how smooth, and how many frames per second they can fit in, when you're watching one of those digital slow motion replays in sport. Just imagine how quickly, just one of those frames would go by, and it could have a subliminal in it.

To me whenever they go out of their way to promote something my antennas light up right away. Like with all the anti-smoking (ok may not be healthy since when do they care of our health and whats will the world wide banning?) because it may very well interfere with the chip. I dont have on hand a link to smoking and the chip but will post when can. Cheers, and dump the tvs i say

everything will go "internet" and antennas and satellites will be banished. besides, they won't work underground. our computers will be nothing more than a plastic card with our code on it. we're gonna be able to log in our "personal" computer space into the beast, from any terminal, anywhere we are at. with this card, we will be able to receive any tv or radio or other information we want, even brain states.
just a small, tiny pic of what's coming. i got much more ;)

I did hear somewhere (can't recall where now though) that the HDTV's have the capacity to be transmitters & receivers, whereas normal tv's don't. This could just be nonsense, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true :(
I hardly ever watch tv & certainly won't be getting a HD model!!!

I'd hate to state the obvious, but how materialistic do you have to be to purchase a hdtv (unless you're well off)? Some people are really asking for it.

This is where the forum gets goofy. If you are looking at a computer monitor right now, you are looking at an "HDTV". Adding more lines of resolution to a television monitor does not transform it into a nefarious mind scrambling device. The "televisions brainwash you" thing is so old and cliche and completely exaggerated by a lot of the "conspiracy" community. It helps give a bad name.

People once said the same thing about colour televisions. It's just advancements in technology. HDTVs are also not at all expensive when you consider the relative price of entertainment center televisions throughout the years. As HD becomes the standard, technological advancements bring things closer and closer to the level of the average consumer.

I don't know about HDTV being a more intense method of hypnotizing, but I did notice that, although I watched very little TV in the US because its energy was stultifying, when I came to Australia the energy from Aus TV was even more insidious. Of course, I don't know what that energy is, but I definitely can feel the difference, and I was surprised it was the case.

Apparently it is a transmitter/reciever and camara. I would not buy one. If it is what they say no way will I have one. Nor recommend any of us get them. I put a link about it in the beginning pages of this. Check it out. Granted the author is a dimwit but hey the info we want. Cheers to all and be well. One more thing best to play word games with your family then tele anyday. I say word games cux I rock at them LOL. Cheers

Has anyone heard about the tiny cameras that are being put into new TV? I found a small round section on my new high definition TV, and put a piece of white tape over it just in case.

I just found this link that suggests that smoking reduces the chance of obtaining loads of things such as asthma, eczema, food allergies, gum disease, tuberculosis, heart attacks, strokes, skin cancer, breast cancer, parkinsons disease, alzheimers disease and more.

You could say the same about the internet. In fact, I shall. I mean, who are we to so greedily and vacuously demand instant and virtually free acess to an infinitely expanding digital library of media of every kind imaginable? How dare we demand such a privilage as knowledge and experiance! Now, I'm going to go shoot myself, been delaying it far too long.

Regarding the worldwide restrictions on smoking, I did read somewhere, and I wish I could find it (I'll have a browse around) that tobacco was the scapegoat for the lung cancer caused by the nuclear bomb testing program. The tests which were performed on rats in both instances actually showed that smoking PROTECTED against lung cancer, because if one inhales one particle of radioactive gunk, and it gets into the lung tissue, one has had one's chips. Smoking protects by providing a mucous lining, preventing the entry of the radioactive particle into the lung tissue, and it is ejected in sputum. There seems to be a spate of non-smokers with lung cancer, and they blame this on passive smoking. They (we know who they are) had to blame this lung cancer on something, to avoid the outcry against nuclear games and testing.
Oh, found the link, here it is:

Tv does not provide "instant and virtually free acess to an infinitely expanding digital library of media of every kind imaginable". You don't need a hdtv unless you've got money to blow and most people don't, and even then, it's pretty much useless.
How can you compare hdtv to internet? Seriously, some of the comments...
