The BBC (or more correctly, the power behind the programming of the media), before introducing a subject which they knew the masses wouldn't like, predicably broadcast a 'progressive' front item news piece as was shown on yesterdays 6 o clock news:

Yes, it's not just what's in the news but its timing. The TV is designed by top psychologists who understand the "sine-waves of mood" etc.
