Not only that but people should also just buy less stuff. The less you consume the better for the environment. Even recycled things can and will eventually end up in landfills. Learn how to make your own things too, that you do need. Grow a vegetable garden!

And recycle everything! - http://jenkinspublishing.com/humanure_contents.html then there would be no need for chemical agriculture.

I'm not that bothered about this issue as its a manufactured control mechanism, but if I was i would unwrap stuff in the supermarket and leave the packaging on the floor. Do any of you do that?

actually if you are concerned with your consumption and its impact on the environment, you should forget recycling and instead have NO PARTS of disposable plastic, styrofoam, or aluminum ANYTHING, and demand paper be made from hemp. paper is totally biodegradable, hemp paper doesn't require all the nasty chems and is far more renewable. whereas all this recycling is doing is POLLUTING the atmosphere!!! all so you can feel better about your overconsumption. the overcomsumption by which the machine keeps you under control.
