"Terry Wogan has a smaller box"- Russel Brand's reply was pretty hilarious. Very good interview, if a little short. It's a long story, but I personally came across David Icke through a university design project on the subject of "Paranoia"- yet I found that his ideas, among others, made a lot more sense to me than the consensus view of world history. I was astounded that Icke had such a similar view of existence to my own thoughts. Organised religion is insane- it simply limits the scope of how people think. The true nature of our reality and creation is far more beautiful than anything a man could conceive of. I've always been one to ask myself the big questions and have always been interested in why we're here. To this day it amazes me that some people I have spoken to have never once contemplated life on a deeper level.

It's hard to deny that we do live in a prison, and it's equally absurd just how few people realise it. The thing is, I am so much more at peace with life after having spent years thinking about reality and appreciating it's awesomeness. Rather than shy away from the big questions, I would urge anyone to think and research for themselves. It's about embracing the sheer size of the universe and our world and all it's possibilities. It's scary at first- and I must admit turning inward can be quite challenging. It made me miserable for a good year or so, but once you come out of it it's incredible.

Why are people still so obsessed with trivial matters? Given the beauty of life and love why are some so narrow minded that they can't say anything original or feel the need to lash out, or project their inadequacies and fears on others? Life is crazy enough, and alot of us are responsible for making it that way.

I felt that Brand made a good point that, perhaps, Icke and others have a tendancy to barrage "newbies" with information which may be just too far fetched to accept, without fully understanding the grounding ideas behind them. Without sounding arrogant or horrible, there is a large percentage of people that are of average intelligence. From my experience with such people, they don't really have the "need" to look for such information as Ickes or require it like others do. Its not a slander its the simple fact that, for a number of reasons, people have different mindsets. They're more than content to live on a surface level and have no need to question anything. If they are ever truly to wake up I think a "drip feeding" approach may be the way to go. A wise man knows that he knows nothing, and despite being on this site, I'm not sure if I could commit to some of Ickes more "explanatory"/Nephilim views. It's almost TOO easy. Theres definitely unseen elements in control, and theres a lot of levels to manipluation but I don't think the evidence is quite as concrete as it needs to be to support some of Ickes ideas.
To put it simply I'm open to most suggestions, and for sure, the notion of us being alien hybrids or schizogenic on a DNA level (as Tsarion puts it) may be hard to accept for some, but it's most certainly plausible. Unlike organised religion at least these researchers are offering possible answers.

obie some good thoughts you post there

you know I always wondered how scared those people that try to make this a one world government or at least try to control everything must be??

I mean we don't know who they are they hide behind other people and they are trying to control everything through ways only few realize and can see?

But what for? What is their goal and if they reach it why are they doing so???

Life is so much more beautiful if you just let things be and take their own course. Only a mind or being afraid of everything is trying to control everything.

It's almost like they live by fear or better, of it.

thanks donito- I agree. As Icke himself said- it's only in recent times that they've raised their head above the precipice. The manipulation of events-especially in the media, have never been more apparent than today.

I think now, more than ever, people are disenfranchised with modern life and they're beginning to see how they're controlled. Look at the wealth of symptoms were seeing- crime, diabetes, obesity, obsessions- they're all connected to the simple fact that human beings were never meant to live the lives we do.

Personally it was 9/11 and the reaction to it that did it for me -even the most hardened sceptic would be compelled by the sheer amount of evidence that contradicts the "official story." If 9/11 is a lie, which I personally think it is, the implications are truly enormous and truly terrifying. It's really only because of this event that I am infinitesimally more open to the ideas of Icke, Tsarion, Jones etc.

Anyway, I have a deadline to meet, so I guess I'd better stop thinking and get back to work ;)

yeah, he's the one, I like his attitute, think he's getting too much exposure at the minute, like they are building him up for some big part on TV or something, but I think he has a good heart and is not afraid of the truth.

fair play to brand, he's someone i don't have time for normally at all, i always thought he came across as a bit of a media hoar and i once heard a fairly fuked up deviant story about him from a friend of a friend, so i was expecting him to take the piss to be honest.

but hands up, he seemed more clued up than i was expecting, wonder if he'll have alex jones on soon:D

Thanks Greenleaf for making that for us all :)

All in all quite a good interview, shame about Russell Brand butting in a little at times, but I guess he had a time schedule to keep to and wanted to ask more questions.

Thanks again

Excellent, thanks Greenleaf. I think Brand seems to be quite well read or perhaps quite awake, not the celebrity tosspipe you would imagine. Very interesting, I think maybe Brand could actually be one of us, he sure asked some interesting questions.

I loved the interview and cant wait for the next one next Sat.

Thought I would rejoin Davids Forum now there is some order here as the old forum was totally OTT for me...

Also I thought I would balance things as so many members from here have joined Russ's Fan Forum...;)

Russell was a Drug & Alcohol addict for a number of years from the age of around 14yrs I believe, hes been clean for 5yrs now and turned his life around, his book called My Booky Wook is the no 1 best seller at the moment and is a heart wrenching brutally honest account of his life thus far...

He is an intellegent articulate kind man who is often missunderstood...
Rather like someone else we all know...;)

Yes and Russ seemed to pleased that David said that so I dont get what this is all about apart from the element of "brainwash the masses" http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/25865/Bush-whack-Brand-/

Excellent job whoever posted this comment underneath the article:

Re: Bush whack Brand!
“ Haaa - I think Mr Brand knew exactly what David Icke thinks, he is trying to be a controversial personality, that defines the man and it's exactly why he invited him onto his show. People should vist Mr Ike's website and see the truth about what is happening in the world. And, incidentally, Icke has written countless books making some very serious claims about people - and he has not been sued once, because he does his research! Why has no one taken him to court - either because of the publicity it would cause, or because the evidence is real "

Someone commented to me that David should not have said it as it may get him and Russell into trouble and I replied "Why has no one taken him to court - either because of the publicity it would cause, or because the evidence is real" "I know which I believe..."
I also said "David wouldnt have said it if he thought it would cause any trouble" As far as I know the BBC have not had any complaints about it have they... David & Russell have a mutual respect for each other and their work...;)

Great interview.

Brand was supportive and cool.

He had to say the 'this does not represent the views of the BBC' thing.

He prolly says that about a thousand times per show, to cover for his own inspired and libelous nonsense...

s'all good.

Look forward to the revol Russel.

Parrently they're doing another interview next week.

Effing A to that!
