Paying for goods with notes and coins could be consigned to history within five years, according to the chief executive of Visa Europe.

Peter Ayliffe said that, by 2012, using credit and debit cards should be cheaper and more convenient than cash.

Some retailers could soon start surcharging customers if they choose to buy products with cash, because of the greater cost of processing these payments, he warned.

Visa Europe briefed the British Retail Consortium last month on new "contactless" cards that can be waved in front of a scanner to make small payments.

However, the consortium dismissed this vision and claimed that card processing fees, which regulators are investigating, are still too high.

One member of the consurtium said that the estimated "interchange" fee charged to retailers amounts to some 4p for each transaction.

Nick Mourant, treasurer at Tesco, said: "There is a duopoly between Mastercard and Visa in the UK. Their setting of fees is anti-competitive."

Katherine Albrecht has also been talking about this for years, this is why they have introduced store & credit cards for the master database, & that's why RFID chips are being pushed forward. They propose to RFID chip all cash that you need your card to withdraw, so they know what notes you have. They will tax the cash so that you need to spend it within a certain time or it will become devalued, driving us towards a cashless society.

Her talk was being shown on google but I haven't been able to find it, so if anyone else knows about is please let me know. She also shared how they will monitor all of your purchases & they even know how much toilet paper you & your family uses, so that if you should ever think of harbouring someone in your home, they will be checking out your usage to see if it has increased! Cosy...

Without cash they will know everything we do & buy, & they'll have people in debt by the short & curlies...

Hopefully there will be enough protesters to make the government change their mind ... or enough protestors to get rid of the entire government altogether! ;)

Heard of positive thinking there eternal spirit? :D As long as there are enough lightworkers united then we are sure to win in one fell swoop of sweet smelling rosey victory! The longer we leave it, the more prepared they will be. It's simple really, we just stop going to work, stop paying ANY money to banks or government, & unite in the spirit of love to keep the world running through exchange instead of money. There's only a handful of them, what, a few thousand according to some, and how many millions of us? And, we have love on our side...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Then I think, but they're humans, would the military & police really go ahead with shooting us all down?

Wow, what a good question, awakensong... I do trust that light will 'win' over darkness, that tyrannical rule is coming to an end, as is living with such a disconnection from the Divine & nature. I also believe that it can go either way, so people have to first look at the shit this world's in (instead of pretending it's all fucking rosy) & then do something about it, even if it's just changing their belief about their life.

A quote that someone shared with me is coming to me regarding this, it's from a Tibetan monk that was being tortured by the Chinese. His main fear... that he would stop loving his torturers. Wow... what a commitment to love.

I guess my faith is fluid & fluctuating each day/moment depending on how I feel (you know what I mean, sometimes it can all feel so hopeless on this planet of illusion!). Ultimately I have faith in myself, & the overall good of mankind. I know the state of the world contradicts this, but when people are free & able to choose love or hate, I have faith that love will win.

The illuminati & their servants are ultimately just props to help us realise our own power, light & love. Without them we would not be feeling love's opposites of hate, anger, fear & loneliness. The question is, how much further does it all have to go before we stand up for ourselves?

Nor would I mind dying in battle against the military or the illuminati, for fear is the blissful release from the illusion. Not that I intend to die this way, I will be enjoying heaven on earth before my days are up! And enjoying a life free from banks, money & debt!
